the gears trailer was just a rails shooting segment that was "meh". i wasn't impressed with that but it provided some new info on gears2 and that's good.i'm happy to get any new info on the game.(or any game i'm interested in for that matter) can't take much from look of game from a tv show. especially broken up like it was. but im stoked for the game none the less. i'm looking forward to the trailer that's being released at E3. i think you're being a little too critical. i'd rather...
it will be released at E3. i kinda thought they wouldn't reveal too much now; what with E3 being so close and MGS4 just being released. still, i'm stoked for R2.
funny, they jump on any ps3 game that gets negative reviews, but when a masterpiece like MGS4 comes out to great reviews? they say reviews will not affect game sales. what is kotakus' problem with the ps3?

if being a hit means churning out the UT3s, gears, halos, and CODs of the world, then i hope kojima avoids it. mindless shooting and juvenile multi-player teabagging may be what a portion of the masses want; but, i'm glad a master game-maker like kojima avoids that crap.
i've only played 2+ acts, but it's a wonderous, amazing game.......and i don't think it needs the dullards seal of approval.
the characters in a game don't have to look like giant hulks from the WWF to be badass.
since i've been playing; i can't figure out how it would get any less. it's a classic.
because it really exposes just how average GTA4 is.
but then, every game seems to pale in comparison to MGS4. i can't wait to finish so i can start my second play-thru.

ratchtet, uncharted, resistance, motorstorm, KZ, MGS,GoW,FF,LBP,jak and daxter(when it's announced), GT. then there are new properties like heavy rain and wardevil.

it would be game over. that kind of system is still years and years away from being a mainstream idea. ms, sony or whoever does this; they would crash and burn.

i liked the first KZ. it didn't have a bogus musical score, just battle sounds and that was great. i like the helghast. they, along with the locust horde and the chimera are my favorite baddies. the story in KZ1 was very good, and i can't wait to see where it's going.
one more thought. why would a past game guarantee a new game will be good/bad? first halo was great, but 2 and 3 sucked. bioshock was super-good, but does that mean that bio2 will be as good? we won't know until w...

the story in KZ1 was great and i'm lookin forward to more. also, original KZ was glitchy but it was still fun. and anyways, can't base how a game will be based on past games. halo 1 was super cool, but 2 and 3 were snoozers.
i was hooked on it during the 1st game. also, did anyone notice comment from one of insomniac guys about hale. a screen was shown and he says this is where hales life is getting close to ending. WTF? if it does end during this game, who is main character in R3? (i've heard price say that this would be a trilogy)
