no no not that megumi.. the other megumi before megumi kagurazaka's time. The one alongside Yuuka back like in 2002 or so. I think she only went by "MEGUMI" like how Yuuka went by "YUUKA"

Damn idols and their single names make it difficult to find their works!

that's odd considering the press at TGS said they enjoyed it a lot

I feel sorry for PS3 supporters the way the media handles things sometimes. The PS3 finally gets a really good AAA that makes it a reason to get a PS3, just like how Metal Gear Solid was the reason to get a PS1. I've known some friends of mine trade in their 360 to pick up a PS3 + Uncharted 2, though they're having a hard time liking PS3 because the majority of their friends are on Live!, but they definitely enjoy UC2. Even my gf recommends her friends to get a PS3 or pickup UC2 after watc...

I'm really gonna have to pick up Dragon Age on the PS3. I've been torn apart between this or ME2 next year, and this being a spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate... i'm even more torn apart.

But after reading there's no multiplayer, that was quite a shock since BG and IWD both had multiplayer. Not to mention the whole 3 class 3 race is a huge turn off. =T

Where's my old Bioware Black Isle? I miss you guys.

Want PS3 to outsell? Tell them to drop the price an extra $50 to $249 and offer a free included game as incentive. Then tell them to advertise a new market slogan "Now $50 less to $249" Black Friday is coming up soon, console makers should be poised to take advantage of this holiday shopping season.

I believe Halo introduced the regenerative health... but I wouldn't call that innovative though. What marked me more innovative about Halo was the 2-weapon ordeal and the "combat evolved" theme the whole game centered around. Riding on vehicles and having NPCs that interacted with the environment. It was like Half Life in a bigger scale. Truly one of my favorite games on the Xbox, though I wished Bungie would bring back the old Myth games they made.

Although 9 / 10 is a good score, I really didn't like the first AC. That's just me though since I'm sure a lot of people enjoyed it. Rather, I think my point of this posting is that it's become relatively so easy for games in this generation to score 8s and 9s.

How often have we seen a reviewer honestly score a typical game a 6 or 7 ?

I still think reviews should follow a strict guideline. I believe that 9s and 10s should belong to games that very well deserve i...

Streaming is the future. If that's the case, I wonder why the Japanese love embracing streaming anime as well as running off to purchase blu-ray releases of related-anime. Maybe it's because people want absolute high quality and a physical medium they could hold onto. Gee. I wonder....

It's intereesting how the industry still treats the PS3 despite it taking a lead in the Sept. sales.

"When the September NPD numbers were released earlier this week, few were surprised to see that the PS3 had ascended up the charts into unfamiliar territory: second place, ahead of the Wii and behind only the virtually untouchable DS. "

As far as I'm aware, the PS3 is duking it out with the Wii and 360. Since the sales of the PS3 are in the lead against the...

ooo just because the Go supports DD suddenly it's like Sony is a conglomerate hypocrite. Get real. Everybody is doing the DD thing ever since DLC. You can even grab games wireless into the DSi. Is it rational to say Nintendo are hypocrites for adopting disc-based media when they were so eager to stay with cartridges back in the N64? Please.....

Everyone's just adopting some form of DD because that's the future it seems the industry is progressing towards. Staying with DV...

I find it odd that they're praising 1080p streaming yet insinuating throwing in a br addon.

Something tells me the next MS console will use blu-ray of some sorts.

Well i'm not disagreeing with you Software, but the part of this news article points at the iMac and that new screen of its, and being that it's all-in-one, it's probably better to find a similar product to compare to the iMac.

no problem playing games here. Cider version of L4D runs great too. Bootcamp games tend to run faster than on my Vista/W7 machine.

And Macs aren't that expensive. They're much more affordable than they were years ago. At least, as laptops go, they're more affordable than an equivalent quality Sony Vaio. If you want inexpensive you can always go with Dell, but still, Macs in general aren't that expensive. An iMac is an all-in-one, and even an equivalent HP machine at Fry's c...

your logic fails in that you somehow assume the 3 blu-ray discs would need to be switched out for gameplay. No where in the article do we know for sure what those 3 discs are. What people do know is that a dual layer capacity blu-ray is enough to store game content, leading many to presume the extra discs are for bonus content. It is clear on the 360 multi-disk games require disc switching such as Blue Dragon and Lost Oddysey, and other games such as Forza 3 utilize the 2nd disc for instal...

maybe it's 720p stream upscaled to "1080p" similar to what Toshiba was doing with their "1080p" upscaling DVDs they were trying to release after the demise of HDDVD.

I'm not trying to sound morbid here since cancer & patients go hand in hand in my line, but having a small portion of my life dedicated to playing video games for entertainment purposes, the article writer needs to focus on writing about games. If he wanted to talk about his terminally ill friend, he should blog about it. He shouldn't be including his opinions of a game into it and churning that out as a video game article. He has several paragraphs describing his friend going through ...
