I like the art style. It's really good. The sound is fantastic too. I like the vibe.
However....
I've never played an Ar Tonelico game - though I've heard good things about it.
For a newbie to Ar Tonelico, do you guys think I'll be able to enjoy #3 without experiencing the first two games?
Well sankaku's been feeding fanboy war articles ever since they landed as a source at n4g. Who knows if they're really pro-sony or pro-microsoft. All I know is they're sure loving the hits we're giving them.
Spoken like a blind fanboy. It's not like PS3 users were putting down netflix. Their argument was why pay for something they have been doing for free or using an alternative method. Their other argument for digital distribution / streaming of movies is that 1080p on a blu-ray isn actual high-def 1080p image with all the bells and whistles of high-definition audio, subtitles, extra content, and extra languages - which is why technophiles would prefer renting a blu-ray off Netflix than str...
haha didn't strike me at first but you're right about that buddy. bubbles+
According to Joystiq, Netflix seems to be officially coming to the PS3.

wow $200 for the upgrade only? Sheesh! I'm with you on that. It used to be $1000+!
I actually got a chance to play with the magic mouse (hate it) and 27'' iMac today at Fry's. I managed to sell the iMac to customers better than the female Fry's employee from toying with iMovie & screen recording on it. Hah! The screen is absolutely gorgeous especially that resolution. It's too bad though, I think the specs on the machine was using the ol' nvidia 9400 instead of t...
Something tells me he's really robot.
haha that's cool man. CL & ebay sometimes can net a profit over used items. I remember selling floor speakers for $100 more than I bought them for. Same with a garmin nuvi gps.
Apple did release the new iMacs recently, and I would love to get my hands on the 27 inch core i7 iMac with the 8 gig DDR3, but that's an arm & a leg I'd have to give up. I'd only imagine with that kinda setup, my project edits and encodes in FCP would go much much faster than my mbp. And at ...
Gamestop chick called me today and oddly enough she said they were allowing midnight pickups of the game so I'm pretty damn happy . =D
To be honest, I don't see the PS3 ever overtaking the 360 in America. Then again, i don't know how much of a lead the 360 has over PS3 in the States. Even when priced competitively, people still don't see that it offers quite a lot of value for its price, and that's something Sony continually fails at marketing. Not to mention, Sony hasn't been very arrogant for a long time. They've been far too humble while the competitor's been PR trash talking.
To the trash talking PR spec...
I have a ubuntu box, a unibody mbp, and [now] have a recently upgraded Win7 Pro laptop. As far as everything goes, I don't approve of Apple tv ads. They don't really tell me much about about the product other than it being a hipster gadget. In fact, Apple.com tells me more about the products they sell.
For those that claim an Apple is an overpriced piece of crap, that isn't entirely true. They are in some cases cheaper or on par with PC alternatives. I feel that the cost o...
Not disagreeing with you buddy but what you said pique my interest.
"I bet most of you here haven't even sat and drove in an Audi R8 before. And the state of affairs here makes me second guess whether N4G really loves racing sims for the genre and not for the pretty colors. "
It's funny how a lot of people that played the "competing" game said the controls and handling of the cars are spot on. And i'm not talking about people in n4g. Gamersyde, ...
the car in all photos is from GT5. They're not real. You can spot the signature generic license plate akin to GT. As for the shots themselves, they're all replay mode using in-game assets. The lighting and aa is increased dramatically, but the car models are still the same. If Prologue had a vignette video filter during replay mode, you could probably snap the same quality pictures as these by fidgeting around with the replay.
There are tons of youtube videos of people m...
Well just got my approval for W7 using that $29.99 student pricing someone linked on Digg. 15 minutes to download that W7 Pro 64bit 3gb file onto my netbook. Hopefully it installs, since i'm not sure if Samsung is releasing any updated drivers in anticipation of W7. Otherwise, I'm bootcamping it. Seen some youtube vids of people bootcamping the RC and looks like it runs fine.
More to the above...
I'd say after repeating the mel missions so many times because of horrendous targeting (compared to the DS which had excellent targeting oddly enough, maybe bad code), having to watch the 3D cutscenes over and over again because of repeating, and having to drive to my destination over and over again because of... repeating...
GTA Chinatown Wars for PSP sucks. EDIT: scratch that. It doesn't suck. It's just frustrating.
It's one th...
Some people here need to read the article. The headline is inaccurate and misleading people.
Yea actually. It's like topdown GTA3 graphics with old school GTA1/2 sprites. Having played the DS and the PSP version, the PSP version makes the DS look so bad. It's almost like everything is in higher definition, the lighting is so much better, more side quests, online play, and even the cutscenes have better resolution.
However, I don't like the PSP version at all. They introduced a better "physics" engine to it, but I think they should've focused on other thing...
yea these days magazines are throwing 9s and 10s out like candy. But it's silly though, because we know it'd be easier for them to honestly just give out a 6 or 7. Or better yet, give out 8s more often than the typical 9 and 10. Why do I say we know? Because we can see they're trying to lean towards that old system but it's safer to give a game a 9 else face the wrath of readers - hence now they're succumbing to a strange decimal system with 9.3s, 9.4s, 9.5,s 9.9,s and 8.9s.

I laugh at the disagrees just because I said Halo was innovative? I mean seriously, to me it was innovative playing an FPS on a console that involved a bigger scale war not like COD, but with interactive elements such as third-person vehicle control, npc players that shout "GRENADE!" when launched at you, and an interesting story to boot.
I mean how many other FPS were there during Halo's time where the player actually associated well with Master Chief? It was a pret...
As far as I know, I was telling my gf this because she was interested in a Mac, and pretty much her professional colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry and healthcare also use Macs.
I said to her, if she only uses Windows to do things like chat, games, and web surfing, then Windows is fine for those needs.
However, if she's ever interested in visual editing or organizing, she can always look towards a Mac for aperture or bento. I also told her that Mac...
