The 360 will be ahead Nov and December. You have to remember. 1 million guys got system banned. What do you think those ~1 million guys gonna do with a bricked system that can't play XBLA, get new demos, game updates, Netflix, WMC, or obviously play online? They gotta get a new system or switch, but either way, that's still 1 million possible sales out there.
"The PS3 outsold the 360 by 150 000 units in the USA at the peak of the PS3 slim hype.
Now lets wait for the October NPD and you'll see that 150 000 gap shrink like it almost never existed.
Mark my words, bookmark this post or whetever and just wait. "

A sale is a sale. There is no such thing as a fake sale.
The only problem with the tactic of getting the consumer to re-purchase items is that the user base doesn't increase.
So with that in mind, for example, it is possible to have 2000 units sold with only a user base of 500 - which of course represents poor marketshare.
yea your vgchartz statement doesn't make much sense at all. If anything, that's a good thing.
Also, preorders and sales don't really equate to the same thing anyways. I've preordered many games from time to time on Amazon just to cancel them and get another. In fact, I cancelled my preorder for MW2 in favor of Assassin Creed 2 just a few days before release. I played MW2 at my cousin's house instead, and I'm glad I didn't spend $60 on that really short campaign (though very...
Gee, since piraters are system banned, they can't even download demos, XBLA games, or use the window media center streaming. Heck Netflix is down for the count for that reason too.
I expect to see MS 360s quadruple in sales for December from this mass banning. Like Anh Duong said, piraters have no choice but to buy a new console to enjoy the new games in the long term unless they really just want to play their old games.
If MW2 became a PS3 exclusive, it would've sold consoles. Of course, then there'd be a petition and boycott to go along with it as to why it went from a multiplat to console exclusive.
way to show your ignorance buddy.
Yup and even until now Apple still hasn't implemented a proper cut/paste/copy. It seems to pain them the thought of implementing such a contextual menu. I hate to have to click, drag, and hold the option key to move stuff around. It would've been much user friendly if they had allowed everything to be done with just the mouse, but no... single button mouse is the Apple way.

A lot of the stuff in Windows 7 is like MacOSX. When Windows Search came about, it functioned practically like Spotlight, but it definitely works better than Win7 than it did in Vista. Changing wallpapers every halfhour/hour/etc in Win7 is a feature that OSX had for awhile. The new taskbar in Win7 functions almost like the OSX dock. The Expose-like thumbnail previews on the taskbar are eye catching and reminiscent to OSX. The new Win7 Windows Explorer has side bars that serve a simila...
nice... smoothly changing subjects after getting owned.
I'm guessing F3 was on separate discs because they had to make room for three separate files of car models (car models with different total numbers of polygons for in-game, photomode, and starting line), as well as files for the pre-rendered/textured damage models, since it's apparent that there is no physics damage modeling in the game. Just collision detection at most. Still, there's no night/day, weather, or custom tracks in F3. There's livery but that doesn't take up much storage sp...
you got owned really quick there
I don't think reviewers are so inclined to perform a speed run on their own time just to baffle us on how short the game truly is. Afterall, they're paid to tell us how the game is in an average experience.
Who here thinks 9.5 for MW2 is the "safety score" for IGN so that it is enough reason for them to give MW2 the GOTY to be "safe" just like what they did with Fallout ?
Pretty much ... ban all those guys so there's 600k+ sales of 360s to show for December. Since ... from what I read, a banned account also links to the system, so the system isn't even able to download updates, XBLA, demos, install games to the harddrive, windows media center, and other features relevant to silver and gold members.
The environment seems to be very static. And what's with the lightsaber beam-like flash light?
The faces of the characters seem to lack any emotion as well when in the cutscenes/dialogue sequences. No crazy facial animation I take it. I'm still getting it though.
For those of you mentioning Siren. The game was scary and appears like it will be scarier than Alan Wake. Though Siren had piss poor graphics, but seemed to work for its theme.
Looks like these pirates will need a better paying job to get a new 360 with actual games.
I thought live did go down in price to ~$42 a year. Regardless, the features on Live gold membership are nice, well thought out and implemented. Though like others have said, if you have a PC lying around, most of the features are free to use on Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera, Firefox, etc...
In the blogging community, it only takes one screenshot of a game, no, it only takes one segment of a screenshot to make people believe the game is better than anything else out there.
We haven't even seen any additional pics or actual video of this [other than shaky phone cam], and it's already beaten Uncharted 2 or KZ2 graphics. That's blogging community journalism for ya!

I didn't disagree with you, but just posting a reply ... I think people here are just celebrating because some on the other side of the fence were saying the Sept NPD numbers for PS3 were a fluke/spike.
