i actually like the blades a lot too and found it easier to use. NXE looks really snappy and nice but I feel it's bloated. I hope this new dashboard doesn't replace nxe. UIs should look great and feel intuitive. They shouldn't be convoluted.

Sweet! 4 player multiplayer with enhanced console graphics. Much better than the iphone/ipad version! Very excellent diablo-like game for those not familiar with it. Though ... having played the ipad version, I wonder if this is entirely the same, but the 4 player multiplayer is a very awesome addition.

Somehow it would seem that microsofts idea of product promotion lies in the ability of the media to push it to the consumers. Looking back through the years, MS games have received loads of compliments from the mass media and these games sell very well.
However when a game doesn't get the kind of media push, it appears it doesn't do as well. Now people speculate check money affects the quality of journalism. Could this be true?

Maybe 3ds? That will steal the limelight. Considering kinect is geared towards casuals atm, if ninty decides to say 3ds will come out this holiday, the casuals will probably want to invest in that instead.
After all, nintendo has bases covered on casuals. Ds, dslite, dsi, dsixl, wii, and 3ds. Casuals eat that s#it up.

well they're gonna have to do it live and let the E3 attendees have some hands-on play time with it in the open and not in closed/controlled areas. Otherwise the media is gonna see it as smoke & mirrors.
I think they should put the kinect out in the open more instead of just allowing the press to have hands-on experiences with it in closed-doors areas. They should be like Nintendo. Put a bunch of Kinects out in the open at shopping malls across the country.
The things I've seen so far has been Natal + Press experiences in very controlled environments.
Nintendo on the other hand before the Wii release had a bunch of their kiosks everywhere.
It's not an MG game at all. It's like others have said, a ninja gaiden-like game with MGS as the brandname to support it. Somehow, I don't think Kojima likes the direction (heavily 3rd person action based) of the game but has to be there to ensure it doesn't tarnish the metal gear universe he created. I think he'd rather his metal gear games be more towards tactical espionage and not hack-and-slash.
