at least you can use the move on hardcore games like Killzone. The move isn't all about kiddy games.
well if you get a free psn title each month, i suppose that's cheaper than paying for a psn each month without the service. Granted, you'd need to continue service to keep playing those psn games you got for 'free' with the service.
the CoD deal is for timed-exclusive dlc which i'm sure you have to pay for
Sony's conference was just pure games. Not really much anything cute or any new hardware announcements we didn't know of. Mostly just tons of games and exclusives here and there. Very awesome show and a clear support for their fans. It's also good knowing move 3rd party support is there and we can know for sure core games are headed to it.
This year E3, Sony is just showing a bunch of games. Lots. Especially games for grown ups.
Deadspace 2 will be awesome especially since it comes with a hd version of extraction.
Just realized you can practically use the move on most existing ps3 game sans motion control unless the game supports it. If you think about it, the move + nunchuk is just another controller. It's not like you can use kinect on non-kinect games and even if updated with a patch, you'd need a variety of gesture motions to do certain things. So technically speaking, if you wanted a 3rd controller, the Move could possibly be a substitute.
Except ms will price their kinect cheaper than move now. Notice on gametrailers the kinect conference is at 4 pm after sonys conference.
Why is it that suddenly everyone thinks they'll have to have a 4 player experience. How many of you here actually have four wiimotes and nunchuks? It's not like you're forced to purchase four controllers if you're just going for a single player experience.
Judging by how cap com used a ds3 controller in conjunction with move when they demoed re5, I'm guessing you really don't need the move nunchuk. They all run on Bluetooth anyway.
Man he's awesome. Epic speech
Mixing wind and fire into creating the firestorm was pretty cool. Good concept.
Yeah the streaming is going back and forth, it's like time travel. You'd figure GT would include some kind of buffer
Sorcery vid looks neat.
Probably to see how sony will price their thing first. For all we know, it's possible kinect only costs $30 to manufacture. Ms can easily change their price when it hasn't been official to easily compete against the move. They really want Sony out of the market. After that it's nintendo.
Wait a mniute. All those announced games are not just parts from a disc but are each separate titles on separate discs? Wow. Just wow.
well this is actually something I would like to get. i'm curious about the reliability however. But it is definitely something I may decide to get down the line, afterall my 360 doesn't have hdmi, it still uses the original 20 gb hd, and the n wifi would be a nice addition.
not disagreeing with you, heck I just saw your comment anyways, but just wanted to say I wouldn't be surprised if the kinect becomes a big seller. Remember when the Wii was announced? Sooooooo many people made fun of it. Sooooo many boys and girls, moms and dads, made fun of it. Look at it now.
The biggest thing now though is how do you convince the many Wii owners into purchasing the Kinect? It's practically the same thing.
And the second bigge...
there are probably cheaper alternatives and larger varieties out there. E.g., yoga and pilates workout dvds. Anyone who's kept up with the Wii knows the WiiFit+ doesn't work. And like biggest said, $510 to get in shape is foolish way to invest that money just to get in shape. For about $299 at Costco you can get a 2-yr membership to 24 hr fitness, and girls love going to the gym with their makeup on and workout clothes that are more for eye appeal than function. ;-)
going to cover reminds me of the animations found in scc
heh that's up to adobe. =P
i say they probably made amends considering gabe's speech was rather humorous with the kevin butler vp of sharpening things line
