not sure if there's a fallout demo, but I think f3 vegas' graphics are pretty meh and people seem to really dig fallout 3. imo though I prefer the first two games.
maybe they shoulda just put accelerometers into the controllers, release a new model and call it a day. Cheaper alternative.
Moving a controller up to jump is no more precise using a controller + camera combination than a controller with accelerometers.
for some reason people seem to think gt4 models in hd means low res low poly models from the ps2 era.
calling rising a true metal gear game instead of calling it a spinoff is foolish. it's like saying dirge of cerberus is a real ff (or ff7 if you want to go specific) game.

stepping outside in the sun for long periods of time isn't good for your health either. so is flying on an airplane on a normal basis (e.g., for work) since secondary cosmic radiation are more likely to pass thru you at that altitude than on ground level. all in all, saying 3d isn't good for your health is like all the other examples people have already mentioned.
it's a bioware game so .... judging by their track record I'd say the media automatically assumes AAA with any game associated with bioware
fps using the gyroscope would be the weirdest thing. Imagine playing one in public and people wondering why you keep turning left or right. Or how about setting the gyroscope to control free look. People would really start to question that person's sanity.
Sony must be very serious about anti-piracy on the ps3. It's like a double-edged sword. On one hand it'll get a big boost in hardware sales just like the ds, psp, and 360. On the other hand it'll also kill software sales. Granted, a good game deserves purchase and I'm sure most people in the pirating scene probably do, but if they're in the scene I'd assume most of the software (such as 3rd party) are pirated. I don't think Sony would want their partners seein...

well if you think about it, I'm guessing a lot of the audience thought the presentations they saw were the real deal. If we were there, we'd probably think the same. It's not like they had the luxury we had of pausing and reviewing the presentations to find flaws.
Nintendo's 3D is easy to do since the screen is always in direct view and it's about an arm's length away from the eyes.
I tried out Sony's 3D at the Sony Style store and it was very impressive. The store had a 3Dtv demo of some live tv stations, blu-ray movies, and games. They also had their ps3 game room equipped to display the 3d games they had. Motorstorm PR and SSD in 3D were simply amazing, and made me think of 3D in a different perspective.

lol so true. I understand FF11 was on the 360 but that's a given seeing as to how this gen Squeenix been playing happy with MS. PSU is also a given though since they did help sega out in setting up the online component to PSO on the dreamcast. I'm more inclined to believe that SE is in need of money and are going to MS for it rather than the other way around. MS don't need SE.
what he did at the end pretty much shows the game isn't tracking much if anything at all. and obviously the other dancers are paid to be there to make it look cool rather than silly
is this a $199 new xbox with the harddrive? If it is, I'm getting myself a new xbox! Been wanting to replace mine with a new one w/ hdmi, wifi, and bigger hd for a long long time.
I'm under the assumption the new 360s come standard with the hd so... I'm keeping my hopes up. =D
a gimmick to sell more tvs? err... it's not like it helps sony 'only'. Samsung and Panasonic also sells their own 3dtvs and it's not like they're promoting 3d gaming.
