well any game that comes out now that doesn't have graphics at least equal to Uncharted 2 must mean their graphics department fails bad. Considering you know ... Uncharted 2 is mooonnths old.

Anyway, the screenshots for Enslaved do look pretty good, but you can tell at the texture choice and design that a lot of it is half-assed. Uncharted 2's texture work is phenomenal, very detailed, and believable.

Okay. Maybe I don't want to say half-assed...

Gosh the first time I ever heard darude - sandstorm was waaaay back when I saw this B5 street fighter competition vid on TheFiringSquad.

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

brings back some good memories and vid is another good reason why controllers are a good thing to have.

the glowing ball on the move is made of foam or something. It's squishy. They probably figured when designing the controller, the blunt end facing the tv should be made of squishy in case the whole device flies outta your hands.

Poor xcom turning into another generic fps. UFO def and terror from the deep were really good. I liked apocalypse too. Give me some isometric strategy old school xcom and I'm game for that dose of nostalgia

I doubt it's a PS4 announcement.

1) Too early
2) I recall a PS9 commercial a long time ago.
3) The Kevin Butler commercials are funny. Why go back to these strange commercials again?

Remember the fbi agent in Heavy Rain and his glasses? Remember how he got addicted to it so badly the tanks started shooting at him with the glasses off?

Yea.... play too much SSHD3D and you'll start seeing asteroids attacking you as soon as you turn off the game and take off the glasses.

Yea and I remember back in the hay day news were telling people how cell phones could cause brain tumors. OH look at us now! 4G's coming and nobody's complaining.

Give 3D awhile to settle in and nobody will care about the 'side effects' whatever they are. At least we don't have to wear those funky blue/red glasses anymore to watch the annual rose parade. Now we got them funky cool xmen glasses!

Maybe oakley should get into the 3D gla...

how should MS stay afloat?

Give people a reason the 360 isn't just a multiplatform wannabe console.

I purchased an Xbox for its games. Great games. Games that defined the Xbox. These were Kotor, Halo, MechAssault, Midtown Madness (hell it was fun imo =P), fable, jade empire, pgr, phantom dust, etc.

The xbox had a mix of multiplat games too but there were exclusive games on the system that defined the console. They were different. T...

Granted F3 was a good game, it wasn't leaps and bounds greater than F2. The evolution from F2 to F3 is similar to Halo 3 to ODST.

But going from GT4 to GT5 on the other hand is quite the evolution we expect from a PS2 game to the PS3. It's taking long for GT5 to come out indeed, but it looks far better than if it had come out years ago as GT4 HD or GT5p.

after staring at the video for quite some time, ignoring everything else, and then after awhile completely forgetting I was watching a video of GT5, I fell into this illusion that I was watching a real cam video of someone driving on the green hell. Then after coming out of the trance, I remembered I was watching a video of GT5.

That sense of speed and lighting are amazing.

my samsung netbook was immediately outdated several months after it was announced. hah.

Using my last bubble. I know that there are phones that have had video chat for quite awhile now. I suppose the thing that would make video chat on the iphone 4 a success is based solely on market share. The problem with the other phones is you have to hope the receiver has video chat capabilities, hence why people seldom use video chat if they have it.

With the iphone...

some of the best dslr's aren't even more than 11 mp but you got some so-so point & shoots that are hovering around 14.

like SJ and kharma said, it's really about the sensor. Imagine a point & shoot with a full frame sensor now that'd be something interesting. The most we got are the m4/3 and sony's nex series is an amazingly small interchangeable m4/3 with an aps-c. Now the nex isn't point & shoot but it's close.

It's not really a shooter but it is a first person game. Has sorta an rpg element to it and more story driven. Loved the first two games but maybe in 2054. I don't see the world having flying cars and that sort of technological evolution in 17 years. Marty once had hoverboards and flying cars in 2000, but the only thing we have commonplace today is the Prius. Can't see it flying anytime soon. The world today is more eager to see the next best phone than they are to see high...
