I wouldn't take the fact that wolf runs the same on both. It looks like an old game running at a high res. I was really surprised how not-next-gen it is.
I held off but ran out and picked this up at lunch. Its got high enough scores that I know it will at least fill the void until WD is out next week.
My only reservation was Thief scored quite well in places and that was f-ing terrible.
This evenings session will tell all...
Long time though! maybe waiting on the install base to grow, unless they are planning something cool like adding new cities to GTA V as has been talked about previously.
I have often day dreamed that if I were R* I would build GTA as a platform. They could then release stories for that platform at will. Some could be half hour throwaways, others full DLC campaigns. There is no reason why they couldnt use the GTA universe and put a cop story in it. They could have a little ra...
Indeed, the pre release shots and vids confirmed the next gen before any rumours began to circulate.
A graphical upgrade from the beta to production is unlikely.
People seem to get confused about what the various stages are.
prealpha = not really playable by anyone other than a dev.
aplha = not finished, work in progress. Its playable with direction from a dev, but its far from done.
beta = we think (hope) we are done. Please point out what we have missed.
Production = fixes from the beta observations (one w...
Back under the bridge please...

To fair though all bar sunset are almost negative things as far as PR goes. Dropping the price and kinect, paywall etc is an admission that they got it wrong. Those are not "woooo " announcements they are "about friggin time" announcements.
They want to get those out of the way, as while they are good annoucements they also highlight where MS have not been so good to us. So E3 can be "boom" "boom" "boom".
I sort of agree, but... Games just as these are not really being "remastard" they were originally built, and did run on PCs that had far more power than the PS4 and Xbox One.
It could be argued that the original console release was a crippled downgraded release of what the game was meant to be and now we are getting an experience closer to that it was intended to be.
At the end of the day though nobody has a gun to our heads to buy this stuff. For ...
Maybe its not all that anticipated but I figure I can polish it off before WD is out...
Why show watch_dogs when it will already be out. This is terrible and is a 14 year olds fantasy.
To be fair though he didn't say anything I wouldn't have as a non game dev.
A friend of mine is a developer on such games. I wont say the game for the sake of not getting him in trouble but recently his place had a small team write a whole new engine and the game to run on it in six months. This is not unusual for this type of game.
No. They put it in there because they were not confident going down the gddr5 route for whatever reason. Heat.. Cost.. Availability.. Given the Xbox ones TV goals I suspect heat being the main one. There is no doubt which of the two consoles packs for heat and louder fan rates.
It talks up Eurocom but does fail to point out that what that company was is actually the remains of the people that originally brought us Tomb Raider!
No other city can boast having a Lara Croft Way ;o)
Mass Effect : Inter-species Porn - Extra thick edition.
I would say it would have been even earlier than that. Most design is done upfront than redesign is done during development as things dont work out etc, pacing needs adjusting and so forth. On a title like ME the design is prob pretty well done a good year before they ship with just the odd bit of work needed here and there. I expect to see this at E3. This was just a click bait artificial. The assumption its not long into dev because of a titles is weak to be polite about it.
Derby is heavily tied to MS. All computing students get access to pretty much every MS PC product bar Office for free.
Or PC by the look of it. Have to admit it looks like its built on aging tech. reminds me of Dishonored, i.e. build on an engine that was build of older hardware.
I am more amazed by how much of GTA V I have never seen!
