It might be a clever marketing ploy, but why do they have to do during Christmas. They did the same with the Wii and DS. It just leads to many disappointed children and parents who feel they have let them down.
Thankfully my kids don't want a Wii U so I've escaped this kind of crap.
Just wow! What a way to make a dick of yourself. You do realise that all these security features are put in place because of people like you? So in a way you are complaining about yourself.
Imagine if Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo let this kind of thing run rampant? No developer with any sense would produce any games and the whole industry would disappear.
I really do hope that's sarcasm?
@Outside_ofthe_Box
Fair enough, they did dumb it down for the "wider audience"
There are many far worse contenders out there. Maybe your expectations were too high.
I think you missed the point of his problem with Live. May I suggest you read it again then explain your reply.
There'd be complaints if it was free, that seems to be the way society works these days.
Remember when everybody was cheering the price of the Vita when it was announced, then a sudden U-turn just before release. Yeh, that's right, after the initial pleasant surprise they all remembered they had to complain about it.
Old habits die hard, doesn't matter if the Wii U has a stellar line-up at launch Nintendo will still engineer a shortage.
If people can go orbital over higher screen resolution on a new system then I sure as hell can leave the planet in a bus, maybe even bareback on a giraffe.
Or alternatively, stuntman, tell me more about this Cani-bus, sounds like it could cushion the shame I'm experiencing being a gamer.
Just wow!
When's the next bus? I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
I was hit with this yesterday, just carried on with other missions content in the knowledge that Gearbox will fix it soon enough........Unlike some developers!
At least it's not a game breaker.
That's not true, a Wii U bundle is on average £150 more expensive than a PS3/360 bundle. Consoles alone the Wii U is around £100 more expensive. Here in the UK anyway.
Well there it is ladies and gentleman, might as well give up on the comparisons now. s/
I can respect your opinion, but I will ask this.
If they had gone with the realistic look, don't you think it would have got lost in the plethora of realistic looking shooters out there?
I don't know of many first person shooters that have garnered the same interest as Borderlands. Especially considering the crap ending and the near empty maps. Considering these two complaints I still play it to this day.
Tough, it's not up to you Cliffy.
I got fantastic looking games on my Android phone, gameplay wise they are awful. Graphics alone do not make a good game.
@jaklink
EA own the publishing rights, I think you underestimate how much that means and what they can and can't demand.
Too late now, any interest I had has gone. All my attention is now primed and ready for Borderlands 2.
In all seriousness I think we are going to have to wait for CoD to kill itself before anything can take it's place. Let's face it, whether we like it or not CoD is a cultural phenomenon that will have to run it's course.
With recent years consisting of masses of hype and then growing disappointment with the final product, some might say the end of CoD is near. Who knows, they could be right, then again Black Ops 2 could deliver another CoD 4.
You may have had one without knowing. E-tech is not a manufacturer, it's a projectile technology.
