Play games, not sales.

The demo is meant to sell the game. For many it didn't live up to a long standing pedigree, which has then led to them expressing their disappointment. Even without the Devil May Cry name it's not particularly appealing.

If you had bothered to do any research you would realize that the main character isn't the only problem.

Then that suggests that 75% of parents believe anything they are told by the irresponsible and downright callous media.

Maybe the plebs at The Mirror newspaper should have looked this up before their latest idiotic anti gaming story.

Great info, this is something that had escaped my attention.

Ok, they were wide of the mark with Absolution but 3.5/10 is overly harsh.

It needs to be before I consider a Microsoft console, while the cost is hardly expensive they are still holding half your game content to ransom. It's not a business model I am prepared to buy into.

Most seem to forget that Microsoft get a decent cut out of every game sold.

What a surprise, the media attacking video games again. Why has it got to be video games you tabloid scum? If sitting on your arse causes obesity and cancer then let's start blaming reading books, watching tv, eating at meal times, sitting on a bus/train/plane, sitting in class, sitting an exam, sleeping at night, doing homework or sitting in the doctor's waiting room? I could go on an on and on but you get the point.

It's winter in the UK right now, dark outside ...

Who is he trying to impress by doing that? Because it's certainly not going to make the slightest difference regarding violent crime.

I'm surprised half these politicians have enough brain cells to function as a human let alone run a country.

If you don't pay for the gold service then you are locked out of the full experience of games containing online elements. If you want that full experience then that choice to pay for gold or not is taken away.

So in essence your choices are (minus features) pay Microsoft for full access to your games (games which Microsoft already take a substantial cut from) or don't and have access blocked to portions of your games.

Ok, the cost isn't great when...

Affordability, free PSN, easier to code and the exclusives to differentiate it from the crowd.

Oh, and convince the gaming press to stop smoking Microsoft pole.

Looks cheap. I was genuinely curious when I read the title, despite who is publishing it. But now I have zero interest.

It's nearly 2013, ladder climbing animation should be compulsory, especially considering there was very little else going on.

Console wars? Sounds like an online multiplayer game. Sadly it's nothing of the sort and makes the gaming community look like children pushing each other about in the playground.

Here we chuffin go again!

While all the bellends want to blame video games, I might as well stick my oar in and delve into whatever else Adam Lanza did or experienced.

Let's blame school, because he went through an education.
Let's blame guns because he owned some.
Let's blame food because he ate.
Let's blame America because that's where he lived.
Let's blame his mother because he had one.
Let...

If the gaming press is to be believed Microsoft has already "won" next generation.

But to those with common sense, it's anybody's right now.

Tenchu is sorely missed this generation, Assassins Creed is the perfect alternative.

Waste of a click. If that was meant to be funny it missed it by several light years.

Of course they were going to upset some people, but why did they go out of their way to upset every Devil May Cry fan? I would liken it to Disney hiring Michael Bay to direct Star Wars 7 and casting Robert Pattinson as Luke Skywalker. Just sit there for a moment and imagine the backlash for that.

Dante's new look isn't the problem, most would of learnt to live with it. First and foremost is the new Dante's personality, it's one of, if not THE most dislikeable ...
