Rah rah rah!
They learned the same thing MS should be learning, and it's a lesson that they should never forget: software sells hardware. The Switch and 3ds aren't succeeding in the face of scary smartphones and tablets because of brand alone. Hell, Wii U wouldn't have bombed if Nintendo's name was that strong.
I was one of those 200k day one purchasers of PSV. It was a no brainer at the time. The 3ds was weaker, gimmicky, and in a precari...
It looks to me like he's saying USERS should look to streamers and youtube rather than reviewers for determining whether a game is of interest. I agree with that generally.
I don't know what the issues are here, but there has generally been an uptick in shoddy reviewing this gen. We hear about the big goofs like those couple at IGN, but these smaller outlets are constantly printing reviews after insufficient gameplay time and often with just plain incorrect info.

I finally checked it out too. It definitely "works," but we've got a long way to go to reach where I hope it could go. Hopefully whatever took them so long can be used and built upon in other games.
That VR game from Cloudgine seems to have disappeared, so I'm not sure where the tech goes immediately from here. I'm hoping we get a remake of Rampage myself.
They need to hurry up and get the party system patched so we can more freely ...
Seeing people named Supersonic and Segagamer being negative about Nintendo is a nostalgia trip of its own. It's 1992 in here.
@rain
This was a Tweet about Mike Forgey, who was a colleague who left behind three young kids and a wife.
It was a nice jesture on the devs for paying homage and a nice jesture of Phil to give attention to it.
If you want to read into it more than that, than maybe that's something wrong with you, not him. To me, toxicity like that is worse than whatever it is you're complaining about.

As many as make sense to them.
How many $60 games can you buy? How many $20 games can you buy?
If you don't want to subscribe, just keep buying. It's all optional just like with movies and music.
Who exactly is advocating for that? It doesn't even make sense. If it was SOLELY a subscription based future, where would content go when it is "taken off?"
I'm sure some people only watch Netflix, and maybe some people would be fine just using GP, PS Now, etc., but we all know that Netflix doesn't have all available content on it. I still go to the theater, buy movies, watch services like HULU and HBO. Live sports are still through other platforms, to...
The people using Sony's network are still PS gamers. They're just playing with non-PS gamers. Sony still collects $ from the users they've attracted through their own efforts. These aren't using dedicated Sony servers either....just their network for players already on the system.
What you really need to be saying is that Sony should be entitled to protect their ability to collect royalties from multiplat games and their skins and MTs etc. That's the iss...
Ahh, that makes sense.
ZhugeEX: The guy who leaked that MS was restricting the Xbox budget a few months before they went out and bought multiple studios.
Always love the insiders who only seem to have "inside info" that is negative to one company or another.
OT: I'd personally recommend everyone hold off on dropping $60 for C3. Just try it on GP first.
Lol. I like you.
The 1L line was the point, man. They'll tell you all the things they think they know, and really they just grabbed their older brother's outline, or a treatise and/or regurgitate something they half-learned during K's or civ pro. That's where your level of knowledge is at imo. Tell me I'm wrong.
Real life isnt the same as the bus orgs or MA's case law they'll force on you.
No family member, ...
Well, fans aren't happy with Bethesda and F76, so what can you do?
Pokemon came after my time as a kid, so I'm not overly familiar with it. However, isn't turn based gameplay and strategy important to its core appeal? How would real time fighting work?
I have several who did buy it and are upset that they did. Sounds like you have smarter friends than me.
Lol. I would think that lazy phone grammer and copying text are giveaways that I am. You should hear me talk in online matches if you really want your mind blown. We walk amongst you!!
Reading more articles would actually be helpful for you, though. Or go post your thoughts on abovethelaw and let all the 1Ls tell you how wrong you are if it makes you feel better. Also, listen to Rain.
The board at MS did not decide to install weak RAM, DRM, no used games...
I know, but I was still hopeful with the comments a few months back that they'd be increasing their 1st party output.
I'm certainly pleased with what we got, but I was hoping that their success this gen would lead to even more. But the days of getting 4 AAA Naughty Dog games in a single gen are over, I'm afraid.
I'll be curious if they continue to crush everyone and bridge the gap with top tier 2nd/3rd party deals. Doesn't sound like...
Lmao. I AM a corporate attorney, man.
Sorry dude, taking Thompsons words and my own experience over whatever misplaced point you're trying to make.
Dude, I'm telling you that that's not how things work.
Here, take it from an actual MS board member:
"Microsoft typically holds five board meetings a year on-site, Thompson said. One of these is typically a strategy meeting, via which the board hears about planned strategies for each part of Microsoft's business. The other four meetings tend to be focused on specific operating unit issues, and lealders of those units typically speak to t...
Lol. Is that you Donny?
So the board at MS is to blame? Sure, them too. They never should have put him in that role, and never should have followed his vision. So you think the board of one of the largest companies in the world is making decisions like what exactly?
Budgets and focus are the big ones. And who do you think recommends those budgets and strategies? Who do you think oversees and directs everything in each division?
Mattric...
I'm right there with you. I will forever be cursed by loving some notoriously under performing systems like Vita, DC, Saturn, OG Xbox, etc.
Vita is great for JRPGs, but also equally great with action platformers and puzzle games. Really, if you enjoy Japanese games generally, it is a must own platform.
