It would be bad to do so imo.
Halolens 2 is getting a lot of positive early reactions. It seems that the focus there remains on the enterprise side though. I'd say stick to supporting VR in the Win 10 space, and maybe allow devices to be compatible on the next Xbox, but their focus should be on the core gaming market.
If they had stuck with those early VR plans for the X, I can't imagine they would have sold very many units to Xbox gamers. Maybe a...
The most impressive part is that they seem to be able to balance difficulty and accessibility without the need for a difficulty slider or setting. Few other companies can do it.
Not to say that they always get it perfect, but more often than not, they do.
8 and 16 bit games had to use difficulty to extend a game's longevity.
Wouldn't mind portable Halo.
Rare Replay would be great. Honestly, the Viva Pinata games in particular would do well.
Ori is another.
That was a thoughtful review.
I really thought Fullbright made good strides as far as their ability to develop characters. They did so quite efficiently in the short time period here.
Overall (and this sounds weird), I feel like I enjoyed playing Tacoma more than Gone Home, but Gone Home is the better game.
If he's not paid, then it's just kinda sad.
Maybe they started paying by the word?
The new specs and release rumors hit around the same time as the Switch rumors, but for whatever reason, the latter wasn't allowed to have opinion articles approved here.
The talk is 2 next gen consoles. People are speculating that Xb1X continues to be supported but probably with 30fps targets, and Xb1S gets xCloud assistance.
2020 release with Halo as a launch title.
E3 2019 reveal, along with Ninja Theory's early 2020 game.
@Durden
If we have comparable places to enjoy the content, I'm just not too concerned with the name on the box.
They're obviously committing serious money to gaming, so I don't see the worry.
Why would any consumer be against this? It's an extension of Play Anywhere. If it makes the process easier, than that's smart.
I don't think people understand what it is that they're arguing against anymore.
@godsmar
MS should just take a page out of Sony's book. Instead of Alliwantforxmasisapsp.com, MS should launch Alliwantfromsonyiscrossplay.co m.
At least then you guys would have some support for all of your deflection and whining.
@sin
Did you really just include a PETA rant in that? That's a first.
Two things though:
1. Nothing in your post addresses the fact that THIS IS NOT ABOUT MICROSOFT.
2. If the next Xbox is their last attempt, cross play will still happen, and we'll be better off for it.
@ Godsmar
Lol. You guys kill me.
So MS pays devs to talk about crossplay in an elaborate effort to downplay Sony? No, that's not stupid at all. Seems totally legit actually. All those gamers will assuredly rush out to Xbox upon hearing that War Groove isn't cross play!!!!
If it's not an unfounded conspiracy theory, then I assume you guys have links or proof?
Should I wait?
In reality, ...
Nintendo gains the ability to be front and center with high fidelity AAA games through xcloud (including 3rd party) and MS gains more subs. If you're buying a Switch, you're looking to buy Nintendo 1st party. If for a small monthly fee you also get Halo, Forza, and 3rd party titles, and competent online, it's a great proposition.
When that Switch user goes to buy that next system, maybe they're wanting COD in 4k/60 on the next xbox instead of Nintendo. Maybe...
You know they won't, but it really was a good breakdown. Gamingbolt would do well to have these more thorough pieces.
People are tied to their ways, so I get why so many from the various "camps" seem at a loss for how to take these rumours. I think it's more smart moves from Naddela, myself.
It's Win 10/ Office & Surface strategy. Make a high quality line of hardware that acts as the best place to use your software, but put that ...
Lmao...
So how much did they pay War Groove devs again?
Lol. Always comes back to MS. Every single time. What exactly is this huge gain they receive from War Groove being cross play? Apparently they're paying them to spread these evil little lies in the media.
Do you realize how dumb that sounds? Cut the nonsense already.
There's a whole generation of gamers growing up right now who will not accept the old, walled-garden approach. Cross play will happen eventually. Yes, even with Sony. Keep up your co...
Great for everyone except for short sighted devoted fanboys.
It gives MS a much better situation to Japanese consumers; it gives Nintendo a means to get more, high fidelity games on its system through streaming; a younger demographic that may just be on Switch will be exposed to MS; Nintendo can attract older demographic who may want to play Halo or Forza...
Too bad about Reggie retiring before E3. That would have been cool to see him come out on stage ...
Exactly. I can't really figure out if IGN is arguing against the overall use of value as part of a review or not, but it's absolutely part of the equation. Just look at the 8/10 they gave Tetris 99 (a brilliant and simple game btw)
My review of C3 would be different if it was at a different price point. Unless it is exclusively to GP, you can't give it that kind of adjustment though.
As a $60 game, I'd say C3 is about a 6/10. As a $40 game...
Lol. MS has a lot to learn, but I doubt this kind of "review" will do it.
