I think Deus Ex Human Revolution should be on the list. Word on the street is that it just doesn't live up to the standards set by Deus Ex. Several PC Gaming sites are not happy with the end product.

PC DVD....the data is compressed all to hell to fit on one DVD because PC games are installed to the HDD.
Space isn't an issue on the PC where as on consoles many games run from the disc.

Your so right. PC Gaming is so far advanced that that the game makers bypass the middle man (retail stores) and sale games directly to consumers (digital distribution) thus saving a ton of money by not making manuals and boxes. Sure Steam, impulse, Big download etc. get a share but the game stays on the "digital shelf" forever unlike the retailers who get rid of stuff to make room.

1. The GPU does all the work in gaming
2. Consoles are just gaming machines. they do not need 4GB of ram or 6 core processors. you will not be multitasking with a console or doing video editing, burning a disc, and video chatting at the same time on a console.
3. Any 3GHZ Dual core CPU can run all games today. sure 3 or 4 cores sounds better but in reality those are only good so a PC can multi-task better.

That's what i say and maybe Sony will say the same. The Cell just needs the last spu unlocked, give the PS4 a REAL GPU instead of that crappy RSX graphics accelerator, and have 512 system ram and 1.5 video ram and the PS4 would be good to go.

@ B1663r..... Yep your right, sorta, I forgot IBM is the one who makes all this stuff up, they put a System on Chip inside the 360 but it has a front side bus to make it perform like two chips where as the APU has NO front side bus and works as one chip.

The overall graphics of Cysis beat out Crysis 2 and in some areas Crysis 2 looks like crap.

I see a price problem. A dual core 3ghz chip with a high end DX10 gpu on board makes sense. This would provide better graphics, 1080p for ALL games at a solid 30fps and a few new bells and whistles.
Only problem is the manufacturing cost because these chips are brand new. sure prices will go down in a few years but parts need to be bought TODAY and readied for mass production.
A PS4 can re-use the Cell but this time around have a GPU that has some balls...
AMD and Intel currently have a Computer Processing Unit (CPU) that has a graphics processor on the same die or built in (die meaning little square thing you plug in or CHip). Nvidia is making one as we speak or they already have one.

Ummm those MODS are complete games. They took the games and made the graphics a lot better along with enhancing the game play. The Complete Series is very well known on the PC platform.
Metro 2033 PC is hands down the best looking game out. Stalker Complete is the best graphical mod ever.
Many PC mods such as Crysis Mod and STALKER Complete utterly destroy anything any developers has ever made as you are taking the two of the three best looking games and just making them better.

a single card is always better than a Cf or SLi set up because it has NO micro stutter and the drivers tend to have less issues than a dual card set-up. plus your only taking up one PCIe slot, cooler temps and lower watts.
sure a CF or SLi set-up may have better performance numbers which in this case only a 580gtx Sli and Hd6970 CF set-up being the only two but the convenience of 1 card is more appealing especially ...
Doesn't matter how many Gpu's you have on one board as your still only using 1 PCIe slot while a SLI set-up uses two PCIe slots and that my friend makes a big difference.
Granted a 580gtx Sli is the BEST you can get right now but your paying $1000 to be 10 to 15 frames per second faster than $700 HD 6990.
