I know several companies have been using the CryEngine 2 or 3 to make stuff for the U.S. Department of Defense but is this a game?
If so maybe Arma II will get some competition.

I do have rise of Nations way up there on the list so i have no problem with it being Best Ever. Very very complex RTS using air land and water to achieve victory. The "one Big Base" theory doesn't work in this game, you gotta make many cities which does make battles last the longest out of any RTS i've ever played. For me advancing to the Modern Age and launching a Nuclear strike is So Gratifying.

I really enjoyed RE4 even though it lacked the survival HORROR of the previous games. wasn't scary at all but a better than RE5.

This was on the CryEngine 2 but it has been switched over to CE3.

Besides most Military simulators now a days are made by game developers but with classified material and way more detail. Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Sailors learn foreign locations the same way we learn maps on Online shooters....Repetitive Virtual Video Edu...
I don't care when where or how it releases. BF3 could be sold only at a store on Mars for all i care. when it comes out I'm getting it.
But....I can really see DICE releasing BF3 the SAME day as COD because DICE is one of the few companies with the BALLS to do so.
I hate the "Game Over" screen especially on a great game but Keep it though because it's a reminder that i need to go eat or sleep.

I would seriously remove Brink and Mortal Kombat, Duke Nukem Forever, MAYBE L4D and insert Red Orchestra 2, The Witcher 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Gears 3.
Gears is the best 3rdPS shooter series there is and Red Orchestra is the greatest WWII shooter ever. The Witcher 2 is RPG GOTY material with maybe only Skyrim standing in it's way as The Witcher is a classic RPG along the lines of Morrowind for RPG greatness. These three games have proven quality and INNOVAT...
Figures....as this game was not looking too well. Graphics were almost PS2/xbox looking and the game play was very very generic. SOE MMO's have NOT been pulling in the numbers needed to continue Wasting money and time on MMO's. DC Universe started off with a bang but the game needs serious work to maintain the fleeing community.

Yes! more wasted time, money, talent, resources making sucky movie to video game adaptations. The success rate of this genre is Soo high that i'm surprised every studio in Hollywood doesn't already....OK Ok i'll stop now.
I can see Hollywood types having game studios make New games and IP's but movie to games just don't work.

This series needs a new engine very very badly.
Many College campuses in my area host weekend LAN tournaments. I actually won a copy of Bad Company 2 PC the 2nd week after it's release during a Lan tournament (stiff competition in my area as that was 6th place, win a game you already own LOL plus some gift cards).
If none are in your area then gt off your butt and make it happen. Many corporations love to donate money or prizes to sponsor Lan Tournaments. if you can't make that happen then Lan Parties are so HOT!...
