Yeah, the PS2 Ace Combat games were great, even the PSP games weren't bad. Was all down hill from there.
Damn straight. UC3's aiming mechanics were and still are goddamn awful. I have a lot of gripes with that game. I gotta say though, the set pieces were just fantastic and made my jaw drop a little.
"when it works" - and there is the issue.
Vast majority of them games were early in the 360s life cycle. They took their foot off the pedal soon as Kinect was announced.
Bravo, have a bubble! It's funny how very few people see it from this perspective. MS have been throwing everything and anything out the PR window to try and improve their image ever since E3 last year.
"I totally disapprove of them incorporating those servers into quickmatch" - I didn't know about this because I only play hardcore where you have to select a server. Yeah, that is bullshit.
What's the fuss about? BF3 had rental servers, some were great, some were bad due to childish admins kicking people for no good reason. I was pretty incensed at the BF4 lag problems but they seemed to have addressed it for the most part, on PS4 anyways. There is still some rubberbanding while using jets but the ground game, even on large 64 player maps, seems solid so far. About goddamn time too. My BF5 purchase shall be deferred a few months at the least.
I'm willing to wait an extra year for a fully functioning game and a great experience day one if that's what it takes. BF4 says hello.
I'm a huge BF fan but BF4 left a bad taste for EA. I, along with millions of other people, spent around 120 in total on that game and it is broken. I'm waiting a few months after BF5's release to see how it pans out.
The network issues only seem to plague large maps on conquest mode with 64 players. Try it on conquest with 64 players. It's a lot better since last week but there are still some issues. Mostly when flying jets. The ground game seems to have been fixed.
Played a game of Rush yesterday and half my team were sitting back being useless with their sniper rifles. I don't understand why they bother to play rush at all.
Can anyone comment how large conquest maps (on PS4 anyways) are running? They are the problem for me.
Haven't played this since just after release. Seems to have a lot more going on now. Time to boot it back up I think.
Downloaded the Spyro trilogy on my Vita for the girlfriend the other day and I haven't seen it since. Same thing happened when I downloaded PixelJunk Monsters.
I agree, this game looks nice but I'm not too excited about it. The era, the weapons, etc. just doesn't fit for me.
I love Vegas. So simple and intuitive.
Stop being so pretentious. I want them to show us how this is going to be utilised on the X1.
I wish Microsoft would stop yamering on about tech stuff and just show us what games they have that will blow our minds by utilising all this.
And this is why MS are stuck. Kinect isn't happening for them, and they abandoned any thought of strong 1st party studios in favour of grabbing the Wii market, which didn't work. Low and behold, they are all about the gamer again, which will require AAA 3rd party exclusives. Good luck getting them when the competition is more powerful and dev friendly, and has a bigger install base. EA buying up the rights to Titanfall is a perfect example.
Bring back offline tournament modes. Why they got rid of that is beyond me.
