Ye I work in a games store and we sold nearly 3 times as many PS3s in the last 2 weeks compared to the 360. Its bizarre but it goes to show that the PS3s exclusives are what seperates the system from the competition. I think Sony will bounce back from this better than ever. Also, there is no such thing as bad publicity!

Ye I agree, the amount of horse shit articles about the PSN coming out on N4G is laughable. I think people are actually on the side of Sony rather than against. If people sell their PS3 for a 360 they will quickly regret it when the network is back on. Plus, all their friends on PSN won't be migrating to the 360.

Nah I think the texture work on Uncharted 2 is the best I have seen anywhere. Gears 3 beta is alright but the new weapons are slowly turning it into a noob fest unfortunately. Gears 1 was were its at, they should have just stuck with the same formula that made the first one great. Also, I think it would benefit being on PS3, still might someday you know if a trilogy is released!

I know people were ranting about Sony for the last week or two but I am firmly on their side. They never wanted this and are doing their utmost to get us gamers back on the PSN. Man I aint a fanboy, I own em all and buy games for each of em where they play well. Its just this console vs PC argument has been raging forever and it always draws the same conclusion because PCs CAN be constantly upgraded with the latest hardware. Not many do it but it is possible.
Such a stupid debate!! If consoles could upgrade their hardware every month then they would annihilate PC games. In fact, I don't know many PC games that look as good as many PS3 games we have seen so far. Such a stupid argument for PC fanboys who are in denial about how good consoles are nowadays. 360 dashboard is far more "kiddie" than the XMB. Its riddled with bright colours, advertising and oh yes... Nintendo Miis!! XMB is far more to the point, its a much better interface.

I have to completely disagree with Alpha Male 22 about the controls. The controls are now perfect and it still feels like Killzone. I was a big KZ2 fan and although the controls are different in KZ3, they feel great. What makes Killzone unique for me is the look and sound of the game, not the controls. If you like KZ2 controls then go play KZ2. A lot of people ditched KZ2 because of the controls. I dont see why its a bad thing that the controls are now accessible for everyone whos ever ...
I have experienced way more racism on Xbox Live then PSN... maybe thats down to the fact that PS3 doesn't come with a headset and it just doesn't get out as much. For that I am actually pleased! It fucking sickens me when people roar racial abuse at other players, and its generally people who act in packs with their friends. But how do you tackle it? If it was properly reported then they would be banning people left right and center, sometimes for the wrong reasons.
