It's more powerful than my PC. PC is an abstract term. What you should be saying is the PS4 is not more powerful than a PC consisting of X,Y and Z hardware.

When have you ever known Microsoft to be in gamers interests as of late? People seem to forget that they have Kinect integrated with X1. Are they going to forget about that all of a sudden and put the funds to use elsewhere? I doubt it. The last month has been all posturing by MS to try and improve their broken image. They aren't getting a cent from me until I see conclusive evidence that they have changed their tune.
Completely agree. In the space of ~4 weeks Microsoft have gone from EAs level of contempt to instilling awe into people, with cloud talk, first party studio talk, Dx12, etc. All seems like PR spin to me. I personally wouldn't believe a word out of Microsoft's mouth after their DRM and anti consumer fiasco. Sheeple are quick to forget.
I can't help but think that the last 4 weeks has been nothing but a massive PR spin from Microsoft to try and bolster their image. Every day there is 'another good thing' coming out about the future of the X1, but it all looks so fake to me when I add it up.
@Arbitor, as I said elsewhere, they will be third party exclusives. I honestly don't know how long the 3rd party exclusive thing will last with Microsoft given that Respawn admitted it was EA who paid for exclusivity under the table. And then they immediately bought the rights, presumably to launch the sequel on PS4 as well. I like him but he is going to have limited sway. Microsoft bought the 360s success with 3rd party exclusives. Any console company that relies on 3rd party studios making their best stuff don't have a sustainable business model if you ask me. Especially now when the direct competitor has more powerful hardware at a cheaper price and many AAA 1st party studios. Add that to their investment in Kinect and I can't see them trumping Sony this gen, who have ticked all the boxes straight ...
Dude, I have seen complaints from players on all consoles. And screw the DLC issues, the core game is still messed up. They shouldn't be releasing DLC when there are fundamental problems with the game. Between the game itself and DLC I have spent around €100 on it. EA are laughing all the way to the bank. Lesson learned.

Couldn't agree more. It's so disappointing what has happened to BF.
Thank Jesus I didn't buy it so! Sick of the lag in BF4. I'm waiting for a few months after release until a purchase another online EA game. The core game still isn't fixed either and they keep pumping out map packs, complete disgrace.

In order for MS to 'turn things around' they need to invest heavily in their own 1st party studios, and then after that, have them make some AAA quality games. They can't keep relying on 3rd party exclusives and Kinect sure as hell isn't going to intice gamers. Kinect hasn't had the impact in the 'Wii market' that MS hoped for, and they decided to make it a mandatory feature of the X1. Now they are all about the gamer again since that strategy didn't pay off...
