Double funny. lol
Funny! :-)
I hate this nickle and diming by game companies in the name of DLC. >_< All of these extras used to exist within the game to begin with. DLC started as a way to extend the life of a game by providing meaningful add-on but in the end has turned out to be a means of squeezing more money from the customer by offering petty unlockables for money.
Looks like the Xbone delay rumor on gamereactor turned out to be true. And just a few hours ago xbox fans were saying how it was only a stupid rumour and that MS would never do such a thing. :-) Says a lot about the accuracy of people's intuitions.
Maybe they need the time to make the announced changes and implement all the reversals/180s...? Remember how ridiculous the rumours of always-online, used game restriction and cable box sounded to everyone before the Xbone was revealed. Still they turned out to be true. Nothing is impossible when it comes to Microsoft.
The list is missing Chrono Cross and Xenogears!
I do not think there is anything to disagree with if one looks at things rationally. What he stated is a fact. I have been a Playstation fan for 15 years and own only a PS3 this gen as my home console. YET I still own a 3DS and love it. There is just no competing with Nintendo when it comes to handhelds. Home consoles are a different story though...
I agree wholeheartedly. This wait is agonizing!
Predictions and speculations are very risky. Sony was hoping the rate will stay around 100 Yen but the dollar continues to strengthen. Bad luck for Sony right now BUT who knows where the rates will be heading tomorrow so they may be able to avoid the negative impact.
I am glad that the PS4 does not puts up paywall barriers like the Xbone. In my opinion, a videogame console is mainly for playing games so none of the gaming related features like DVR should be behind a paywall since we have already paid for the console. Moreover, any services that we have already subscribed to should not be behind a paywall like Netflix. Online play is a little different matter because the company still has to pay for the upkeep and maintenance of servers for coming years so...
I am already mentally prepared to wait for the next 3 years. I still remember the agony SE made me go through after KH1 when I had to wait for more than 4 years for KH2.
@sdozzo
N4g has always been like that. You can state a fact like the sky is blue and get downvoted and disagreed for it.
It happened to me many times. :-( Although I did beat all minigames in the game on my own. Even the dreadful lightning bolt dodging. Awesome game especially the summons (did not like Bahamut though; FF9 Bahamut was the coolest). The only thing I did not like about FFX was the absence of an overworld/world map. Really missed the good old exploration looking for a secret uncharted island in the corner of the world map :-)
It is a cultural difference dude. Grow up, go to college and learn more about cultures and their preferences. Take up a sociology course may be. I am an Asian and our girls look like that and we like em that way. Actually, western women look too big and manly to us. In addition, in our opinion their faces lack the cuteness and innocence factor. Any girl above 5 feet 5" is just too tall over here. 5 feet 2 inches or 3 inches is the ideal height over here for a girl and that is why they lo...
@Movieworld
Kid? Man, I am sick of kids calling other people kids just because they have just reached their 20s. I may be much older than you for all you know. Anyway, for every third party game you listed there are 5 that the Wii U is missing on. Moreover, those games you listed were released early on (some launch titles) and that was it. Each of them flopped and there are very few on the horizon. It is a well known fact that the Wii U has been abandoned by third party.
Wii U's issue is lack of games. Since they do not get the majority of the third party games, they have to rely on first party games alone. Unfortunately, their first party games take years to get completed and released. This means repeated periods of droughts for the Wii U and the resulting poor hardware sales. Playstation and Xbox do not suffer from this problem because they have ample third party software to back them up when there are no first party releases in sight. Just imagine that...
lol. That power of the cloud thing will haunt Ms and the believers for the rest of the gen. :-)
Well... I do not quite want them to go bankrupt because they have fantastic franchises that can be revived. I just hope they regain their senses and remember what made them endearing to their original fans. Too many developers and publishers have lost their way in this commercialization and "mainstreaming" of gaming in the past decade.
@thomasmiller
Okay, buddy. Whatever lets you sleep at night. That article link you provided is more than a year old and does not gives any link to the source. The article is just a claim. I presented the latest financial statement for you from teh official Nintendo website to go over but you still prefer to bury your head in the sand and claim that I made that up. Just wow. I guess school children cannot read financial statements or even website addresses. On a side note, do you even ...
Dem deep pockets! Now we know where that $1 billion for games is being "invested" by MS. It is the fundamental strategy of MS whether it is in OS business, the browser wars or any other field. Outspend your competitor if you cant outplay them in a fair competition.
