MS has been "meeting" with Japanese devs for the past decade. First for the Xbox, then Xbox360 and now for Xbone. We all know when they say meeting, they actually mean paying. :-/ They stole all the PS3 exclusives and JRPGs at the start of this gen and killed the JRPGs in the process as each of them flopped on an alien western console; never to return. It did them no good before and it wont do them any good now. Money cant solve everything.
I agree but there arent many good turn based RPGs this gen especially one with such a beautiful soundtrack. I do buy other games as well like Limbo, Rayman, Super Mario 3D Land and Journey.

It is BEAUTIFUL!! Man tears came to me eyes as I watched the trailer. The music was just so beautiful. I cant believe a game like this is coming in this age of shooters. I have fallen in love with this game!! I am listening to the music right now on the official site.
The reviewer criticizes the camera for being uncooperative but he never mentions that the camera can be controlled by the right stick unlike in the original game. You just have to change the settings in the options menu. I wish reviewers play a game more thoroughly before writing a review.
I agree; Japan is their home ground with decades of dominance so there is no hurry. Although I am puzzled by the sensationalist title for the article. How can Sony "delay" the PS4 in Japan when they never announced any released date for Japan in the first place? I guess a "PS4 release DELAY!" makes a much more sensational news.
MS officials are in full-time damage control mode. Not a days goes by when Nelson or Penello do not say something. Looks like Major Nelson's and Penello's new positions at MS are Damage Control Officers within the newly established Department of Deception and Damage Control (DDDC).
The article says that kickstarters often get a lot of contributions in the last couple of days so there is a good chance that it will reach that goal. Personally, I would want them to reach the last goal so that we can get the best game possible. I hope they can manage their funds efficiently unlike that Hagar guy who squandered all the funding even though it was seven times the original goal and now is cancelling his game.

The game is multiplayer only so that already puts it in a different league than the rest of the shooters. I wonder how many people will miss out on it because either they do not play online, do not have a fast enough or any internet at all or do not have a gold membership (or PS+ membership if it ever comes to PS4). I think making it multiplayer only severely limits its potential market and number of customers.
And many were considering illumiroom the killer app for Xbone just a few months earlier. It turned out to be just an impractical concept.

Why is the jet slowly gliding through the city? Look at the buildings slowly passing by. Just found it kind of unrealistic and funny :-) Then again Bayonetta was always crazy and wacky with only combat being top notch.
I do not trust this F2P format. I think F2P is just the next DLC. DLC allowed game companies to sell a $60 game for even more than $100. For example, I calculated the price of the DLC for FFXIII-2 and it was worth $60. It means that SE was able to sell a $60 game for $120. Now F2P will give them even more chances to squeeze extra money. I hope you do know that the PS3 has more than 30% market share despite its stumbled launch, Xbox360 launching a year earlier for a much lower price with success and Wii's runaway success. With the Wii U looking impossible to reach Wii's success levels, Xbone's negative publicity with higher price point and both consoles releasing at nearly the same time; it is entirely possible that PS4 may gain 50% of the market share or at least the majority.

Dem deep pockets! Now we know where that $1 billion for games is being "invested" by MS. It is the fundamental strategy of MS whether it is in OS business, the browser wars or any other field. Outspend your competitor if you cant outplay them in a fair competition.
That is kind of disappointing... It should have been at least 30 hours if they are calling it a JRPG. Oh well, looks like I will have to live it and enjoy it as it is. Still though, the game looks and sounds beautiful!
