Ninja Gaiden Sigma is the only other game (that I know of) that doesn't support the Dualshock 3. Maybe Jericho too, but I haven't played that again to find out.
This only happens -every- firmware update. Hardly news.
To be honest, the sound will probably be the same or similar to the Playstation 3 "bell chime" that plays whenever you start your game.
No, the reason why they don't work retroactively is just because of that reason. Even if you downloaded the save file of someone elses game completion your PS3 wouldn't recognize that you have completed the game in under 5 hours or something like that.
You have to physically go back and earn it for it to count.
I don't mind the whole "You have to go back and earn all your trophies" thing. It gives me an excuse to go back and play all the stuff I haven't popped in my PS3 for ages.
Like Skate or something if it ever gets patched. Ohhhh, Codemasters needs to patch up Jericho or something :P

to be honest, I wouldn't start expecting Wipeout HD until the end of July or around August, really.
Hopefully, but considering I've heard word that the PSN wont be getting a beta for this game I can only imagine how awful its going to be for PSN users when its released.
Why? because it hasn't been tested on PSN servers on Ps3 software so I dont have a lot of faith that Capcom is going to get that working "bug-free" right out of the gate for PS3 owners.
I love the "idea" of Too Human, but from what i've seen of the videos and screenshots I don't think that I would like the "actual" Too Human.
I could be wrong and the game just totally own when it releases, but I haven't seen anything in the game that has made me want to rush out and buy a 360.

I'm not even reporting the story I'm just saying that 1) Bloodmask should stop reporting other users for reporting the story and 2) that Bloodmask can find far better news worthy articles other than some hit piece.
Bloodmask, I don't mind you submitting stories that look at the PS3 objectively or even negatively, but this article isn't even news worthy. It's just some guy spouting off about the PS3's launch and rocky sales citing off his own thoughts on the process while, at the same time, labeling the entire affair a "debacle". I think we've had, what, only 900 articles saying the same thing for the past year and a half? Do we really need more?

Also, you get to use Aika and Vyse from Skies of Arcadia as playable characters too. Too bad that this game has gone with relatively little advertisement or hype outside of Japan.

The first picture looks sorta legit, but the second one just looks like a good photoshop. I would love for them to be real, but my gut is telling me that at least one of them is fake.
Agreed, if the hardware sales end up regulating quicker than they should (meaning they drop back down to pre-MGS4 levels in just a few weeks) then the hardware price might be inhibiting the sales of software and hardware both.
A price drop might just be in order around Fall or Winter to rake in some heavy sells for the Holidays.
