Destructoid is one of the largest and most visited gaming sites on the net. Also, as far as the "industry" goes, Destructoid has been one of the most active and respectful sites to exist. Sony has already addressed this issue. They did it months ago....
SCE already said that they would always keep Online play free for Playstation 3 users, but they began drawing up an idea for a premium service. The premium service was supposed to be a method of providing upscale content for an already finished and accessible product.
Kinda like how many MMO's are Free-to-play but provide an Item Mall to those who wish to get more out of their experience.

I agree that taxpayer dollars should go for the funding of defense. However, Obama has repeatedly said (in a campaign video to boot) that he plans to cut funding to quite a few areas of defense. Missile defense is one such area that he claims that we need to cut funding.
As for Education? Why not just let parents have school choice? Why not let the schools compete against each other so that we can create a school system based upon performance and success?
