Gee, I wonder if the fallback in PS3 sales had ANYTHING to do with the rumor that the PS3 was getting a LBP bundle in Japan for the past week? Think people might be waiting till that thing hits the shelves maybe?

I'm hoping that the PS3 sales seriously jump when LBP hits in Japan and considering the amount of positive reaction coming from the Japanese about the game I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing a VERY good seller and console mover in the Eastern markets and more specifically J...

Spelunker is an OLD OLD OLD game that originated on the PC (I think...I kinda remember an NES cartridge for it though, but it was so long ago my memory is fuzzy), but it was ridiculously fun and very difficult.

I mean, seriously, the original game is like Oregon Trail old. Still, good news for the PSN and good to see more nostalgic games being reborn.

A few points:

1) I never said that Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac were created any other date other than 1939. I was specifically talking about the Community Reinvestment Act which was created in 1979. Fannie and Freddie, however, were instrumental in ENFORCING the CRA because of their purpose. Which was to guarantee large loans to private banks in the credit markets. However, even after the bad debt was piling up after mortgage after mortgage was being defaulted on and foreclosed the...

Allow me to educate you on a few things about politics and "the people who got us in to this mess".

1) The symbol that each party carries has absolutely no bearing about what they represent or how the operate government. As for what the Elephant would represent? The Elephant was most commonly used in the ancient days as a means of carrying heavy and otherwise immovable stock from one place to another over dangerous terrain. Mountains, Rivers, valleys, and various climat...

Must not have had enough explosions for the 360 crowd to like it.

Agreed. Sony has tried to diversify their line-ups this generation in such a scattered way that it just seems to have lost focus completely. Their apparent abandonment of the RPG genre in the early part of this generation is hurting their chances of catching up.

I had two gold farmers PM me within the first 15 minutes of me logging in last night. They were quickly ignored and reported.

Actually, every band you listed in your post comes from England.

Rolling Stones - London, England
The Who - West London, England
David Bowie - Brixton, London, England

"American Music" would be more along the lines of:

Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc etc etc. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of good jazz players that was born out of the musical uprising in the United States back between the 30's and 50's.

Sony ripping people off? I've heard plenty of people say this but they never seem to be able to provide any proof of this. If you ask me, this time I'll save you the trouble, it seems the Xbox 360 has been ripping people off when it comes to overall value. Allow me to weigh the function options:

Wireless?
PS3: Included (free)
360: Sold separately ($99.99)

HD movie player?
PS3: Blu-ray included
360: not included (HD-DVD player sold separately b...

I only offer one genuine thank you to the Xbox console:

"Thank you for initiating the drive for improving online capabilities for console systems and forcing Sony and Nintendo to compete and innovate to try and provide better services."

oh, also:

"Thank you for turning the gaming industry in to a vitriolic and angry battleground of fanboys by inciting the most drawn out and condescending console war since the industry was created. Thanks f...

"How long can I stay on line before I have to log out?

As long as you like. You'll never be timed out, and you never have to log out! That's one of the many benefits of being a Comcast High-Speed Internet subscriber. Your time spent online is completely unlimited, with no additional charges."

That's in their customer guide FAQ page at Comcast.com. If you go to the question "How long can I stay on before I have to log out?" and click it they still ...

Awesome. Now I only need Deca-core processor, 20GB of RAM, and 8x GeForce 280X running in Ocho-SLI mode to get it up to maximum settings.

Because, unlike in Japan, the PS3 sales in the U.S. have risen to comparable or higher levels than the weekly or monthly sales output of the 360. Even before MGS4 hit the PS3 was rising more and more above the monthly sales of the 360 in the U.S. (not all the time, but quite a few times) and has consistently outsold the 360 worldwide since like October of 2007.

The 360 has outsold the PS3 in weekly sales only twice. The first time was when Ace Combat 6 was released and the second...

Wow, you guys actually think the Wii is some sort of next-gen console. Shocking.

I always see people knocking Disgaea for keeping it's sprite based look and standard SRPG formula but considering that's kinda what made the series so darn famous in the first place I can't understand why people are complaining.

Sure, we're in the "next-gen" and people expect everything to be 1080p high-res 3D animation that's been bloomed to death, but I just don't think that Disgaea could retain it's same type of wacky feel and crazy battle antics if it was converted ...

In my opinion? NOOOOOOOO~~~

If Bungie isn't making Halo 4 then it shouldn't be made. The reason I come to this conclusion is that I feel that if Halo titles were being created by other teams then they might run in to the same type of issues that the Silent Hill series is having.

Take a look at Silent Hill Origins and the upcoming Homecoming. It's still Silent Hill and it's still pretty darn scary but at times the continuity seems a little "off". It's like t...

Is this just a Wii title? or does it have a PS2 type of release along with it?

If it's just a Wii title that's such a waste.

The IGDA is retarded. You can't really credit folks who had sorta worked on a project and then left 2 years before it's release date. Hell, I have been writing collaborative stories for 6 years now, so do you think I should credit some guy who wrote a single chapter in a small piece of text from 5-1/2 years ago?

No.

Also, Capcom completely omitted the entire Clover team from the credits of Okami and nobody did anything about that. Can't say I see this being that big ...
