So....when Lair and Heavenly Sword got mediocre and bad reviews all of the 360 fans said that the score was justified and that the PS3 "fanboys" needed to get over it.
However!!
Now that Too Human has received mediocre reviews there is some sort of reviewer and critic conspiracy? Gimme a break. If someone finds the game to be mediocre and lacking then DEAL with it. I'm not saying the game is bad (I reserve my impressions for what I actually play; not what s...
What's with the ATI fawning? Also, considering that there isn't a single solitary game that has ever been produced that will take advantage of any of that stuff listed I find most of it to be excessive overkill.
Why spend $2000+ for an ultimate gaming machine when you can buy something cheaper that has less in it for now and just buy the upgrades later at cheaper prices?
Do Not Want.
Although that $299 60GB Pro does sound appealing.
I can't believe Microsoft allowed this...and I really can't believe that Namco came up with this idea.
This really REALLY defeats the purpose of playing an RPG in my opinion.
Awesome. I'm a huge Guilty Gear fan so this game is completely right up my alley. Isn't this supposed to take place in the same story line as Guilty Gear?
****!!!!
This game had better not get canned. Prototype has been on my gaming radar ever since its announcement and I've been dying for it to be released. I was already pretty well pissed when they delayed the game and talked about "putting multiplayer back in it". Not EVERY game has to have multiplayer damnit!
Either way this had better not mean the game is starting to find a grave to fall in to.

According to the official site the GIANT PLAYSTATION 3 logo is still at the bottom of the page.
Considering that Havok's tools are free (at least the binary is) I don't know exactly how much more obtaining a license would actually cost for a PS3 dev kit, but I'm sure that if Microsoft has sought a deal with Havok to cut out the red-tape nonsense then I expect Sony to start filing for a similar agreement as well.
November 2008 (Nov. 11th I think?) is when Valkyria Chronicles hits the US. Not real sure on the Europe dates.
@Alexander Roy - Any money that the PSP brings in to Sony's gaming division is a help to the PS3. More revenue for SCEI means that they can invest in lower the production costs of the PS3 even further, use a portion of that revenue to purchase exclusivity contrats (or in some cases persuade 3rd parties to go multi-plat) or just post an overall profit for the gaming division.
Despite the PS3's lagging sales early on in its life cycle the other portions of the gaming division hav...
I guess that the Japanese heard that Valkyria Chronicles has FPS elements in it and got scared of it. Personally, I am totally diggin' the premise behind VC and I've already got it pre-ordered from Gamestop.
Also, SRPG's do sell pretty well in Japan. If I remember correctly Disgaea 3 sold pretty well and it has had enough success that NIS has already begun working on another PS3 project.
Not to mention that Tears to Tiara (another PS3 JRPG) sold VERY well on its ...
I thought this site was supposed to discourage people from pimping their own sites? Also, why is an admin approving this just to push it through?
The extent of the article is basically "360 might get price cut and the PS2 is gonerz!" it doesn't even classify as news but only serves to fuel speculation and arguments between console fans.
Square-Enix created this monster rumor themselves. By releasing a FFVII tech demo using the PS3's hardware the, themselves, ignited the demand for a Final Fantasy VII remake. No one even thought about a remake until that tech demo was released and then when people began realizing how ridiculously awesome a next-gen remake of FFVII would be people began demanding it.
No, SE didn't announce a remake and they've constantly said that if they did make it the entire team would have t...
So, basically what I got out of that article was this:
If you want to just push out a cash game that doesn't really do anything ground-breaking and just entertains then go with the 360.
If you want to make a game that will be ground-breaking and be a superior gaming experience, while more difficult to achieve, will only be made on the PS3.
So, 360 = Better quantity and PS3 = better quality, but tougher to achieve.
O_o...so it's slower than they would like but still a far better adoption than DVD? I fail to see the problem here.
Didn't the PS2 do the same thing for the DVD where more people were actually buying more PS2's than standalone DVD players in the beginning? Correct me if my memory is wrong on that one, but I remember the PS2 being kinda pivotal in DVD adoption.
The Open Zone -> Head that way.
I got all that stuff and more in regards to GPU and RAM but I'm kinda worried about my processor. All I got is a 2.8Ghz P4 and I can run WoW just fine, but I just hope that the damn thing isn't processor dependant so I don't run in to bottlenecks.
Also, 15GB of HDD used?!?! Good lord! I'm gonna have to do some serious deleting to get that to fit.
As long as that "slow transition" doesn't mean I'm going to be seeing 40 Singstars and 20 interations of crappy carnival games I think I'll be fine.
Just because it's his opinion doesn't mean that it's not "wrong".
I didn't get chosen for the beta.....
