I can honestly say that I have had a blast with the game. Although I absolutely hate Snipers in multiplayer.
"it would be more expensive and a eliminate the point of canceling the Mobile version."
Not necessarily. While the Console development costs would be much higher than development for a mobile platform I can honestly say with assurance that a console version would see a much higher return. Because, and lets be honest, the American and European markets don't really love the ideas of mobile phone main franchises and if PE3 had been made for a mobile phone the chance of it ...
Suikoden for my PSP? Doth mine eyes well with tears of absolute euphoria?
Yes, yes I believe they do.
Infinite Undiscovery is actually a Tri-Ace game.
It's just being published by Square-Enix. So, SE's actual development teams haven't been working on anything other than Last Remnant, FFXIII, and a bunch of Mobile games that never make it overseas. (or whatever)
Oh, and The World Ends With You.
They REALLY need to make some more console games though. I mean...I'm excited about FFXIII and all but I wouldn't mind some minor JRPG's for my PS3 as well. Stuff ...
Wow, I must REALLY be in the minority here.
I'm actually having a blast with Haze and to top it all off I absolutely loathe the Rainbow Six games. Well, except for GRAW but thats the exception.
So...don't fry bacon and eggs on a 360 then? (har har)
Anyways, I have feeling that even the chemicals that they are speaking of are harmless to us unless we are breaking open our PS3's and chewing on the parts inside.
I mean...really...erectile dysfunction from changing an HDD out? Is that the extent of "contamination" that they speak of?
Well, wasn't the Black edition on the 360? With better visuals and everything?
Correct me if I'm wrong on that one.
But the real point I was making is that if this subordinate of Itagaki's can make a game for the PS3 and achieve good success with it why not let this subordinate take over for the NG projects and see if they can make a Sigma version. This other guys team is apparently far more skilled than Itagaki's.
I can agree that many people were put off by the PS3 architecture but developers like DICE, Insomniac, Kojima Productions, and a few others have all praised the PS3 and how, while challenging at first, can allow them far better developing options.
As for Itagaki? I know he doesn't "want" to be bested but the simple fact is that a guy who is supposedly his "subordinate" programmed for the PS3 and developed a game at a time when people said that the PS3 just w...
Itagaki is a self-absorbed prick.
I'm not saying that he doesn't make great games. He did make Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox which did pretty good, and he is making Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360 but what the hell is his problem lately?
He calls DMC shallow? really? rreeaaaallly? Ooookay.
Also, what was the deal with him bashing Ninja Gaiden Sigma and the guy who developed it? Itagaki said it was "not good"
Really? rrreeaaaalllly? ...
This is great news for 360 owners. Games done and they can just rest easy until release day with no worry of delay.
Unfortunately I'll have to wait to see if that "subordinate" of Itagaki's makes a "Sigma" version of NG2, and considering Itagaki isn't making anymore NG games (at least thats what he says) it could possibly happen in the future at some point.
Oh well, good news regardless.
While I recognize your being half-serious and half-sarcastic I would just like to say that I don't understand this "WAITstation 3" thing that people throw around.
I have plenty of fun playing Jericho, Burnout Paradise, Heavenly Sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Call of Duty 4, Uncharted, Skate, Warhawk, Grand Theft Auto 4, Gran Turismo 5 Prolouge, and the 10 PSN titles that I own.
Oh, and Devil May Cry 4. (Yes, i own all of those).
I haven't had...
I know someone also used the "look at Too Human and Alan Wake" comment already but I would just like to point out that KZ2 isn't and shouldn't be the example used when talking about "the waiting game"
Hell, Alan Wake was announced at the exact same time in 2005 and it has had...what...a trailer since then?
Killzone 2 has at least had multiple trailers and screenshots released since it's unveiling.
While I agree that people shoul...
I'm going to be picking it up today to take a run through it. I never intended on buying it "day one" (thus, thats why I'm renting it and saving my money for PC Mass Effect next tuesday) but I can't say that I was not impressed with the game with what I've seen in action.
Side note: I don't think the Flamethrower effect is "awful" either. Does it look like real fire? No. Does any games fire look like real fire? No.
Anyways, this article is pro...
I would just like to point out that the usage of terms like "run-of-the-mill" or "not-groundbreaking" just needs to stop. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell everyone is talking about when they use these types of insults.
Seriously, what they hell do they mean by "groundbreaking" or "revolutionary" when it comes to FPS games?
It's not like EVERY FPS game I've ever played wasn't almost -exactly- like the other 20 FP...
Why are people acting like EA has already bought out Take-Two?
The merger didn't go through. The buyout didn't take so Take-Two/2K remain as independant developers. So, EA had nothing to do with Bioshock coming to PS3.
Nuthin.
Now, if Mass Effect came over? Well, THEN that would be by EA.
So, Jeff loves the new colors so much that he can't decide which one he wants? Well, easy, buy both (as he said in the article).
Although, personally, I prefer my Silver one.
This is OLD news. The bundle was started back in February or March just after the HD format wars ended.
I think it was a push to not only increase game-hardware awareness but make way for Blockbuster's integration of Blu-ray in to all of their stores after the format war ended.
Either way my Blockbuster Blu-Ray section went from a shelf, to a full wall shelf, to now two full wall shelves in like a month.
While Red Hulk does look all mean and red and all....not really missing anything I guess?
Either way, PS3 gets Vader for SC4 so the 360 getting an exclusive character for a game instead of the PS3 doesn't upset me.
Considering that I come from a gaming age when none of this "in-game chat/music/HDD/etc etc etc." existed I don't feel as if I'm missing anything really.
The only time I REALLY wish I had in-game music is when I'm playing Pain and Burnout Paradise and both of those are going to be getting that feature in their next updates.
So, I guess for me, I'm not really in a hurt to have those options. Not to say that I don't think they are are awesome and considering ...
O_o....considering the "finished build" hasn't even been released yet how can anyone already claim that it wont have any of these problems?
Also, wasn't this "review build" sent out to reviewers after the game had already gone gold?
