The DRM thing is kinda....eh...iffy....
However, I was just pointing out that Microsoft ALSO has it's issues with consumer trust and how they treat their clients.
One of the main reasons I hear (at least on this site) why a lot of Xbox fans and fanboys hate Sony is because "they lie and treat their customers like crap". However, they cannot ever provide any proof of this except for the few target render videos that Kutaragi was touting as in-game foota...
And what giant corporation was it that had a history of lying to its consumers? What?! You mean this wasn't Sony?! Good lord!!
If you can't catch the sarcasm in that reply then may God have mercy on your soul....yes....your very soul.
After PSU caused that totally unnecessary hype about a FFVII remake during TGS07 (without any sourced evidence WHAT SO EVER) I have removed them from my "credible resources" list.
I don't think that PSU is a shoddy operation, but I do believe that every now and then they throw out a few things just to get some traffic heading their way.
During TGS they had that whole FFVII remake and it has everyone (including me) in an uproar. Then when nothing came th...
They could always go get the unused and unpurchased 360's from Japan.
BaZing?
Well, supposedly the new Falcon chips RRoD out as well. Youtube has like a thousand RRoD videos uploaded and many of them are Elites (which Microsoft said wasn't supposed to RRoD) and the new Premium 360's (which have the silver DVD instead of the old white one. This was the model that supposedly dropped the Zephyr chip for the cooler Falcon and added HDMI).
Hell, a while back a japanese tech guru (the story was posted on here or Kotaku....cant remember) tested the wattage and ...
Hilarious you would say that since Microsoft is the one who is tied up in three different markets being slammed with Anti-trust lawsuits....and have already lost one of them.
But I guess using bribes and hostile takeover tactics to forcibly remove competition instead of letting the market decide doesn't constitute as "misleading" or "wrong".
I don't think people realize just how insulting that is. I mean...the Koreans and the Japanese have hated each other FOREVER.
And I don't just mean they hate them in the way you might talk about someone behind their back....oh no....they flat out LOATHE each other, so for Microsoft to choose a preference on what land should be called what in the big land dispute that is Takeshima....well....it could be bad.
It doesn't matter that only 20 Japanese residents live t...
Little Big Planet is currently schedule for an April 2008 release.
Gamestop has the game listed as an exact release for April 12, 2008. Although there is rumors that there is supposed to be a beta dropping sometime in the beginning of 2008. If that is true then I would probably -guess- that the beta (if there is one) will show up around February or March.
I don't understand where people are saying that Sony is "underperforming" in America. I mean...if you wanted to actually clarify or correct your response by saying "The PS3 is underperforming in America" then I would say that you might be on to something.
But, then again I could also point out that the PS3 (at a much higher price point) has managed to mirror the 360 launch when it was released in it's first year. Plus, the 360 had all of 2 years to build its...
I'll probably buy it for the console who's company doesn't have a history of bribing developers to break exclusive agreements or stop production on competing hardware.
In other words...I'll be buying it for the PS3
There is difference between keeping an open mind and being receptive to negative input.
I actually have a very open mind about a lot of things, but the book (while I will admit the writing style of superb) is filled with nothing but anti-faith/anti-christian rhetoric. The author himself has admitted on several occasions that he wrote the book to be a sort of anti-thesis to Chronicles of Narnia and has constantly criticized C.S. Lewis by calling him a "racist and a sexist&q...
I was really excited about seeing this movie/game until I found out that the guy who wrote it was an atheist and it's part of an anti-christian trilogy called "His Dark Materials".
How anti-christian you ask? Well, the villain in the story is a being called "The Authority" whom is supposed to be a fictional representation of the Christian God. The first novel "The Northern Lights" (renamed to the Golden Compass so they could sell it as a family mov...
NCSoft had said they were bringing their future PC projects to the PS3, and Aion: The Tower of Eternity had already been on the table for possible console port so this is great news if 100% confirmable.
As for people pushing Aion away as if it was a small rate game? I urge you to reconsider. This game IS the next-gen MMO and it aims to be the most beautiful MMO ever created. I've seen the korean closed beta videos...and OH MY GOD it's just so beautiful in motion.

The Cyber Girl contest on IGN had been there almost two months before Kane & Lynch was released. This isn't a part of the controversy nor should it be treated as such.
The fact that someone approved this trash blog post shows that some people around here are just trying to find ways to throw Eidos under the bus.
Why are all of you guys dumping all over Sony, Dell, Pepsi and whoever else bought up advertising space on Gamespot? It's called business people and if Sony wants to use a space then good for them. Not like you could accuse Sony of buying higher scores since Gamespot has constantly bashed the PS3 and whatever title comes out on it.
Sony is just using the chance to get more ad space. I mean...there are tons of Sony ads on IGN and after that Lair review and the reviewers blurb on...
As someone who has played Kane & Lynch (courtesy of my local blockbuster) and battled my way through it I have these two cents to toss in the mix.
Regarding the game: Jeff was sorta right. It has good ideas but the game is more like a polished turd in some sense. Although a polished one its still a turd and at times it stinks up the place really badly. Other times? its awesome. Let me use a few examples:
1) Japanese night club level is freakin awesome. GOOD

Wow, grasping for straws eh?
I went to my local Wal-Mart friday to pick up a CD and I saw that all of the PSP-2000 (slim units) and PS3 (both 80GB and 40GB) were sold out. There were two Halo edition Xbox 360's and 1 Elite still in the case and no Wii's to be found.
Also, There were still about 8 DS units available too.
Does that mean that the 360 is selling badly and the DS is going to bomb this season?
NO, it means that some stuff ...
Two different reviewers.
The Xbox reviewer was Atom
The PS3 reviewer was Sanford May
Two different reviewers, two different opinions. Hell, not one of them speaks about anything technically between the two systems. The reason why Atom scored it lower? He didn't like it as much as Sanford. He felt it was too repetitive and not the hyped blockbuster he was expecting.
Simple as that. It's just two different opinions and neither of them bash the...
