Balance and cut content.
Largely because of the circular research tree the AI can't compete with a human who knows how to min max the tree. And there was so much cut content from Civ V. Even after the first expansion BE is a shell of a game compared to Civ V.
I bet they are counting the free PC codes they gave away as two sales. It seems like something Microsoft would do to pad the numbers.
Dungeons 2 is basically like a sequel to the game Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2. They were really fun and have a cult following on PC. People still play them. And Kalypso has been making great niche games on PC for a long time.
It's a real shame gamingbolt had to present the article in the way they did. Instead of just talking about the game and the developer.
I find what you say to be inaccurate.
I don't doubt that your "local shop" is trying to pass off something like that.
But if you go to Dell's website (and I'm not trying to sell anything I was just curious after reading what you said). You can get a number of 1080p i5 and i7 laptops with 8+ gb of ram and SSD for under $1000. $499-$799. Plus I'm sure you could find something cheaper than Dell if you shopped around.
What I think has happened is that PC's have reached a point where they have eclipsed the needs of the most common software that people use. Which is to say there won't be noticeable effect for most people by upgrading.
For example my media server is my old i7 920/Gf 260 it's 8-10 years old yet it has absolutely no problems running Windows 7 (or 10) any web browser, streaming 1080p or 4k and it can run any common office type program. Those are the most common uses ...
*rolls eyes*
Do you even know what any of those words mean?
It may be true, but you don't know.
I know some people who are pretty handy with photoshop. And I had a friend who got kicks from just adding stupid stuff on Wiki pages just to see how long it would take or if people would even notice.
You shouldn't believe it just because you saw it on the internet.
I don't know anything about her, I don't really care about the issue.
That said, don't believe everything (anything) you hear on the internet.
Well it seems that not only is UWP a consumer nightmare in the making but also a limiting development platform. Hopefully it'll die faster than Zune.
@343_Guilty_Spark
Now I'm not one to call vgchartz accurate. But if you care to take the time to do the research (search this sites old articles and dates) you'll see that vgchartz consistently overtracked Xbox and under-tracked PS.
So it's pretty safe to say that if vgchartz is inaccurate history would say that it favors Xbox. So we can extrapolate that PS3 probably won by an even larger margin than vgchartz states...

Well, to be honest it took a lot longer for that other article to get approved. It was sitting waiting when I checked in the morning and it wasn't approved until the afternoon (over 3 hours). This article was approved shortly after it was submitted. (around 45 mins only)
Edited: I didn't approve either of them, and could care less about QB I just thought the truth should be stated.
For the people clicking disagree you can see when an roughly wh...
I'd be interested to know if this is the original plan or an altered plan after the backlash.
Either way I regret basically nothing I said and only time will tell. (years) I would never put it past Microsoft to get it's foot in the door then try to lock it down in the future.
@DragonKnight
Just shut up.
Sometimes I say dumb stuff but at least I own it. I either apologize or just let it rest. But you never own up to anything you say.
You started the whole thing by telling me what I know or don't know based on your opinion not fact. And you had to make insults to make your opinion. And now you're just trying to twist what you said till it becomes what you think will win an argument.

I get the feeling after reading about it that it's more to be able to say "every xbox is a devkit" than to actually give people a creation tool.
But to be honest the ability to make games on an Xbox would always have been limited by tools and hardware. I imagine it would have been like XBLIG which was basically limited to super simple games people sold for $1 on 360.
@dragonknight
I suspect you neither understand what equality or feminism is if you say that.
Edited after scrolling down further.
"Because feminists are less emotionally mature than children."
Yea... as I was saying, you don't understand equality or feminism.
Making a baseless generalized insults seems pretty immature to me to be honest.
Kaleb I am in no way anti-feminist. I support equality completely, but I disagree with almost everything you say.
It's pretty safe to say it's not us, it's you.
Classic Microsoft, using a DRM free game to show how easy it is to strap a game into Windows Store DRM.
I guess all I have to add is I didn't renew my PS+ when it lapsed at the end of last year and I don't see myself renewing anytime soon.
Paid online is BS no matter who does it. Online services pay for themselves though sales of products and advertising.
@Caedus511
What are you talking about?
This is Microsoft talking about Microsoft. The game was only released 10 days ago, NPD reports are delayed. This has nothing to do with NPD.
