An article about fanboys has a picture of a ps3 and xbox controller but no wiimote?

Why is this in the wii section? This is obviously not out for wii. The submission categories are:

"(Arcade, Culture, Industry, PC, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360)"

Industry, PC and wii? There's no PC release. This has nothing to do with the broader video game industry. Quit trolling for hits, it's unprofessional and annoying.

"...if you refuse to accept the first Pure Heart, Merlon assumes that you do not intend to save the world, and the game ends...forcing you to watch the lengthy scene once more."

Turning down the main quest ends the game...what total horseshit?

"Inconsistent Level Design: All too over, the game feels schizophrenic, as if it cannot make up its mind whether it wants to be a platform game or an RPG."

I can imagine her other re...

This is what a sandbox game should be - exploration that's fun for it's own sake. I loved AC2. Strongly recommended from someone who normally hates sandbox.

Don't get me wrong though. Demon's Souls is way better.

Video games cost more so they probably have less stock for each game. It may result in more shortages but without being able to predict demand it's a necessary evil.

AKA if you buy 10,000 movies no one wants to watch for 20 dollars you're out at most 200,000. If you buy 10,000 games no one wants to play for 60 dollars you're out at most 600,000. I'm sure they have bulk discounts that offset this but the maximum loss for a gamefly videogame stock is 3x the...

Blockbuster started a one game rental pass for 21 monthly. I like it if only for the fact I choose video games on a whim and my tastes may change when it's in the mail.

It's a good service to see if you want to buy a game. I just ran through FF13 and Dragon Age for this reason. Bioshock 2 comes next.

Normally it's almost 10 dollars for 5 days + any late time they don't charge for.

If edge gave it 100 it's serious competition.

The Hitler examples goes against your argument. He convinced Germany because they had severe economic problems after WW1 paying off debt imposed in treaties. The Jewish people did well and they were a scapegoat. They did not feel powerful and that is why Hitler was able to convince them.

"Kids today listen to a lot of rap and become very comfortable expressing such a word without guilt, especially in an anonymous environment."

On xbox live most of them don't soften the r. Believe it or not, that's a different word.

Did you just put music in quotes? You're a piece of work.

This link is probably the most meaningful on n4g. I remember when button remap options were standard on SNES.

To be fair, in most RPGs people don't complete every side quest before beating the game. If you did this for Oblivion or Fallout it would take forever. So it makes sense some people would skip loyalty quests and it would hurt you in the end.

Planet mining sucked dude, I can also see people skipping the upgrades cause of that.

Why wouldn't they? It's a video game.

DDR and Guitar Hero are some of the most popular videogames overall but looking at these sites you would think they didn't exist.

Having a bunch of extremely narrow-minded losers define what video games are hurts everyone.

"Now from a mature POV, Fallout 3 was a commercial success and also critically well-received by the press and thus meaning the game is good."

The argument is misstated in the OP. The problem is that it is not Fallout. The choices are meaningless compared to even Fallout 2 and there are far fewer throughout the game. The effects of the choices are limited and only a handful of big ones meaningfully affect the world. In the originals they let you do literally anyt...

A little secret:

profit = sales - costs.

Development costs on ps3 were higher. So they moved it to wii. Notice that profit means more than than sales. In fact, if costs are huge, even a large number of sales may not recoup the investment. To put it in terms you might understand, if it costs you a thousand dollars to win 100 in the lottery, it is not a worthy investment.

On top of that Nintendo is publishing this game. Capcom is saving mo...

No one ever did the install base argument on ps2. Businesses would be retarded to consider relative sales when they work with absolute profit. Drop the trope.

"it's like your average gamer is utterly repulsed by the good stuff and will continually buy any overhyped tripe that they're told to."

I immediately thought of GTA4. The wii is the only system where games like Carnival Games or No More Heroes or De Blob come out of nowhere and sell...

Most people beat Demon's Souls in 50 hours. There are NES games people owned and played for years that few ever finished. Back then you weren't expected to beat a video game - it was an accomplishment even if you owned it.

Play Mario: The Lost Levels, the game is sadistic. At least Demon's Souls gives you a chance to avoid a trap with caution and examination. Poison mushroom? Like anyone didn't die the first time they saw that. Almost every NES game in t...

"And if even Nintendo can't get that right, then what happens?"

at some point the cost of security is examined. if you want something that secure it costs an incredible amount of money, which in most cases is worth less than what they're protecting.

aka you won't pay for a 10,000 dollar safe to protect 5,000 dollars. you won't pay millions to protect a year of free games.

nothing is unhackable. most times the cost...
