I would go in those threads but I don't have time with all the fun here. I got a backlog of games to play! But if you go into any console thread and disagree or stir up trouble I support it and think most reactions are hilarious ;)
If I seemed like a d!ck it was cause I go in these threads having read all the comments above and I have that in mind. I was honestly just pissed people would disagree that the OP plays his ps3 less than his wii.
See the beauty of this argument is that the wii costs less than ps3 and for a while an xbox. So it turns out most people were unwilling to pay for HD and hence the wii's success. So your argument arises from a total failure to understand that most people would rather not pay for HD and that they didn't "pay for it."
This argument would only work if most AAA games had native resolution of 720p on the HD systems, which they don't. MW2 is what, 600p native on ps3? 120 ...
I got the slim ;) I kind wish I had a fatty to program linux on though...it'd be fun in a masochistic sort of way. But I build PCs, for 600 at ps3 launch I opted to make a killer gaming rig. I just got back into console gaming after stopping at ps1 with the wii this summer. I love it and bought a ps2 to get a handful of games I missed. The wii hate is entirely misplaced when you consider in 8 months I have purchased all 3 systems because of nintendo.

I played uncharted 2. I have COD MW for wii. COD MW has good voice acting, but don't let the exception prove the rule. The guy in uc2/ac2/halo 3 is awful. I heard 20 hours of him with an italian accent in ac2 and I speak italian. UC2 was a great game my brother loved but not my thing...I don't even want to argue it but I can't stand dual analog to shoot.

As a hardcore SNES and NES fanboy, I'll say you entirely missed the appeal of those two systems, why the n64 began to fail, and how the wii attracted lapsed NES and SNES gamers back - the wii was explicitly designed to do this.

Same here. The problem with the wii is that people who weren't around since SNES keep crying about how it's not GC or ps2 or N64. Making this section of the site almost entirely useless with crossposts of hip hop gamer (rofl) and "the wii is dying" articles taking up the space that should be saved for the releases of TvC, Red Steel 2, NMH2, Monster Hunter Tri, The Grinder, etcetc.

Read why the fan art for zelda is allowed then consider how generic the halo space man suits are. A generic skin of a spaceman in a game and a movie about the characters are so vastly different in a threat to a trademark that I honestly don't get how you can compare them.
They actually didn't file a lawsuit here. They contacted the site a while ago and after negotiations nintendo let them keep the movie up until after christmas.

If Nintendo didn't do this they'd lose the trademark for Zelda. It's not their fault. Rally the legislature and courts for change and then maybe they'll react differently.

TvC and NMH2 slow...a new versus engine game from capcom that's a wii exclusive and a sequel to Suda's best selling game ever. Yet you focus on one stupid game to negate all that.

If they have the money. The business element of gaming is lost on most people here since they are the targets of most advertising. HD games cost so much more to make that one misstep and a later abandoned game destroyed factor 5. Unless you're a major publishing house most companies can't deal with that level of risk. Even ones like Midway and Interplay are currently eating it.
Your loss. Those of us with HD consoles and a wii laugh that your hate for the system can ruin a good game.
