Did you see the duplicate post of this article? People in there keep saying "it only does everything." I can imagine the marketers laughing that they got half a gaming site to repeat their slogan...
My point is that okami is a highly rated game that sold better as a wii port than on the original system. Disproving that wii owners don't buy highly rated games.

Your examples all fail hard. Boomblox sold 1 million copies. Like everyone else you read that a wii game failed because of a weak launch and never checked up later to realize wii games sell slowly over time.

MW2 and GOW3 are the same game man, FPS games are point and shoot. I love FPS and the ability to transfer skill is why. They never change. Point, hide, shoot. Oh, maybe you hit A to hide now. We always could hide tho.
COD is Counter strike but with helicopters and not as good. You know it runs on the quake 3...
Stun enemies and feed lumas to grow into platforms. Also they can destroy bullets and some asteroids. Using the star bits is a huge part of the purple coin challenges on the moving platforms.
This site is how people convince themselves to feel better about wasting 300+ on a console that plays watered down PC games. My wii gets the most enjoyment out of all my friends, gamers since NES who have plenty of quake and pc gaming experience. My gf and my friends' gfs all love it. It's a 2d renaissance. If those kids who grew up on ps1 and ps2 never had a SNES it's their loss entirely.

NSMB Wii is more fun with multiple people playing. If you plan on only playing with friends get it immediately...the times you would enjoy it most are exactly when you can't play COD!
Personally I like NSMB Wii better, this is the best mario ever and feels like a near perfect Super Mario World/3 hybrid. The only crappy parts are the scarce yoshi and NO GIANT WORLD, WTF NINTENDO YOU KNOW WE ALL WANT GIANT WORLD. At least I can fix the yoshi problems with a level editor.

Just beat it tonight with 2 people and usually we do 4 man, it's actually not that bad once you learn to bubble and bounce each other. Way more fun too.
We beat bowser 2 player and it was probably the most intense and awesome time I've ever spent with a game.

Gamecube sold for a profit per console. Nintendo actually did very well (if not the best) profitwise last gen. Certainly beat xbox and IIRC PS2 also, both of which use loss leader sales.
Eh, that just makes looking at the radar a more valuable skill. I played WoW without vent and this is hardly a big deal. If you have a LMG and see someone with a sniper rifle follow them and it works out ;)

The graphics may be worse but I can headshot...while the reduction in maximum players annoys me I'd gladly trade graphics for controls any day. Treyarch did amazingly well with the controls - not as good as the conduit, but much better than their port of Quantum of Solace.
I see your point but honestly I'd dock 10-20 points for dual analog controls on a FPS =D M + K and wiimote give position and velocity while dual analog gives just velocity...
I skipped 6th gen to exclusively pc game then bought a wii for good old 2d titles. I bought it the day punchout was released. Since then I have purchased a ps3 with demon's souls (SL 106 royal on NG+). The wii got me back into console gaming and I got the ps3 slim soon after.
Grandma, ha. You're forgetting that the wii appeals to girls and FPS gamers who can't stand dual analog (I've been around since Doom II). Quit insulting everyone who doesn't share your taste.
That's why I used the qualifier almost. You have to sync the systems. In Mario there is little to sync. In LBP there is much more.
I would accept your argument if the submitter didn't just guess that was part of the reason. Mario kart online and SSBB has much more data to sync and they have online. As does every FPS ever.

Comparing the processing required for 2d mario and LBP is a hell of a stretch. The online games on wii are much more processor intensive (see any fps) than 2d mario. LBP has intensive chain reactions that sometimes skip on my ps3. Mario is much more limited.

Reviewers can't point to aim. MW Reflex has amazing controls, I played it on PS3 and the aiming is a joke compared to wii (own it). I played FPS since doom 2. I can't play them on dual analog but love them on wiimote. Compare the critical reviews of Reflex to the user reviews on metacrit...
