I like how it's metroid prime trilogy too, not collectors edition in this post. Basically someone saw your story (a user or mod), rewrote this, and posted it for hits with a misleading title. Hilarious. They should just get a botnet and quit wasting our time if they wanna up ad revenue.
The case for this game is sweet. This is my first metroid and I'm very happy with the purchase ;) People can still get the original case but god that airbrushed metal looks cool.

Look at the comparison of sega M rated game sales from vgchartz here and consider wii games cost 1/4th or 1/3rd as much to make as HD games.

Nintendo franchises are hyped? Nintendo has made some of the highest quality games for decades and that's why we buy them. If there's any hype it's because nintendo has been making and reinventing these franchises before most of those other companies existed (bungie did but as a pc/mac game dev back then). Mario signifies quality because the core mario titles have been good games SINCE THE MID 1980s....

Scissor runner is right, people forget that translating 2d to 3d isn't always clean. Usually core gameplay is tweaked or changed as a result. Until something new is discovered to replace it that fits with the previous game the series suffers. No metroid was stupid. Team ninja does 3d metroid in third person and they don't mention it. Also there was a retarded omission of SMG 2. I think they narrowed the list to 6 to generate flamebait and "controversial" link clicking. Natal isn't even a game but the unreleased concept is an excellent way to get people arguing.
Removing tactile feedback in a controller wasn't a good idea. I sold back time crisis 4 cause it had no recoil. And I have a wii for these sorts of games and if they let the sony wand control FPS then it's the best of both worlds.
My xbox is for irkuga and geometry wars and games that were poorly ported to ps3, if I want games that use motion controls I'll stick to the wii until the other systems and developers on them prove themselves.

The wiimotion plus attachment makes the controller have weight for those sports minigames involving swords and raquets and bows. Since I used to play tennis I like it. Also, this nyko controller looks like complete trash.

Like most, you speak as if opinion is fact. I own all 3 systems - NSMB is my favorite game this gen. I've played 40 hours total, all multiplayer. That tells you how much my friends like the game.
NSMB is already passing the number of hours I put in Demon's Souls and my friends and I just started a no continue game.
Off topic but blaster master is awesome! I bought it the second they released it for virtual console...when I was a kid I rented it but never got to beat the game =(
