On a side note Mega Man would be pretty neat in a new Smash Bros. My only problem is that I feel Nintendo would pull a Ganondorf and just give Mega Man a tweaked Metroid moveset or something.
I wasn't serious about them stopping the series and the games are definitely high quality; But both Dark Clouds and Rogue Galaxy were some of the best action RPGs of last generation and in my opinion were better than the Kingdom Hearts games. The problem is that White Knight fell on its face when Dark Cloud, especially 2 exceeded expectations.
Someone needs to tell Level 5 to stop releasing Layton games like it's Call of Duty and get to work on Dark Cloud 3. I need a proper Dark Cloud or Rogue Galaxy sequel and White Knight Abomination wasn't even close to meeting my expectations for a new game from their studio.
After releasing a few games exclusive to the 360, cancelling the PS3 version of The Last Remnant and jumping ship on Final Fantasy XIII after years of lying to their PS3 fans that the game was exclusive and would push the PS3 hardware I'd like to see Versus XIII stay exclusive just so I have a reason to believe in Square again.
Anything they add won't change that the game had probably the lousiest cast of characters in a Final Fantasy.
There are aspects of both GT and Forza that are great; both games also have aspects that are extremely lacking. For anyone to hold either game on a pedestal while denouncing the other is ignorant of anyone, especially fanboys and journalists.

I love Kingdom Hearts as much as the next guy but you can't say with a straight face that Square Enix hasn't run this series into the ground. Not to mention the plot is way past the point of coherency by now.

I'm pretty sure the only event in the Metal Gear Solid timeline that haven't been done in a game yet is Big Boss's time he spent in the Patriot's, witnessing the creation of Solid and Liquid through the Les Enfantes Terribles project as foretold by Elisa/Ursula in Portable Ops and his resulting abandonment of the Patriots. I don't know what else could be covered.
