I don't understand why everyone clamors for remakes of older games. We live in an age where these games can be purchased online in large quantities with little hassle, it's not like you have to go store to store on a witch hunt just to get a game anymore. When it gets to the point where we have things like The Shadow of the Collosus/ICO HD Collection, Ocarina of Time 3D and Halo: Anniversary Edition being marketed like they're some sort of killer application for their respective c...
That whole review was a joke. Most of the complaints were barely fleshed out, and it read like she didn't even try to enjoy or be entertained by the game; just played it to bitch about it. Not to mention her formatting, grammar and and spelling are horrid.
Also, what the hell is up with that site? Completely disregarding that there are apparently only two reviews up that I can see it looks like it was designed by a 12 year old who just learned the basics of HTML/CSS. It's like...
Doom and Quake matter more than all of the aforementioned.
Yeah, it goes hand in hand with smithing too, just smith tons of iron daggers to raise smithing, trap or buy petty soul gems or higher (petty is better just for levelings sake) and sell them for almost 1k a piece or higher.
The entire center path of enchantment is beast; you can pretty much enchant things to the point where you don't need to use perks for things; having a 181 damage Daedric bow because of full Archery enchants that's legendary because I have a set of armor with high enough smithing fortitude to allow me to improve things to max strength without the perk.
I'll throw up if Final Fantasy VII is ever remade. It's not even my favorite in the series but nevertheless it's a milestone in gaming history. Square can not improve it, only rape it until it's a shadow of its former glory. Also pretty sure the 3DS is the LAST platform anyone wants a remake of it on.
Everyone is messing the bigger issue here. Which is, what the hell is wrong with that moogle in the screenshot?
I guess if you get your kicks out of playing a slightly improved version of a game that others are going to play anyway is more attractive than having strong first party support that's a valid point. Seems like a odd incentive to make a purchase.
If I were concerned about having the best version of a multi-platform game I'd just get the PC version anyway. I know my Steam download is just sitting there until the Creation kit comes out.
Yeah, sucks that the PS3 has a handful of inferior multi-platform games. Guess PS3 gamers will have to settle for their larger, more varied and higher rated library of exclusives instead...
Definitely less buggy than a lot of their other games but there have been a few big issues I've come across.
1.Occasionally character will freeze up, won't animate or draw weapons/take actions but can still move around.
2.Sometimes during autosaves or loading screens the game will just stop.
3. Definitely some memory leaks going on, though not sure what specific actions are causing them. Less noticeable on my PC version where I have ...
I'm thinking it's going to be a choice between Skyrim and Batman. Though I did love Uncharted 3 and Dark Souls. If Disgaea were eligible I'd give it a nod.
My body is ready.
My wallet...it weeps.
I don't think so. The first few minutes looked impressive; but the actual gameplay heavy sections weren't really mind blowing.
Lol, Second Life.
I squealed like a little girl, all three of these are going on my PSP ASAP.
This game gets too much hate.
Yeah, the characters were pretty horrible, but the gameplay was incredible.
The towns and cities actually felt like towns and cities as opposed to the sectioned off parts of larger scale areas in other Final Fantasy games.
There was also pretty much no shortage of things to do in the game between the Hunt (Marks?) monsters, treasure hunting, item farming for rare shop items, etc.
The story was mature for a Final Fantasy and wasn&...
Pretty cool looking stick.
Anyone know if Soul Calibur has a competitive following? I've never heard of it being played in tournaments.
Reaffirm the damn platform.
I remember back when this series still had some integrity left. Good times.
