After all the great mods on tesnexus for Oblivion it's a no brainer that I'll be buying Skyrim on PC.
Really? These games aren't even that old and people are nostalgic enough for a remake?
They mean Pokemon is like Megami Tensei games for kids right? Seeings how those games were doing the whole raise your own creature thing before the concept for Pokemon even existed.
Not going to lie; after playing the hell out of Demons Souls I went into this game thinking there was nothing I wouldn't be prepared for believing I had experienced all the usual tricks that get you killed...
I was horribly mistaken.
@xteampro-
Because Forza is the Call of Duty of the racing genre? When a game like GT has a long dev cycle it's expected to be amazing, so if it falls short it's crucified for it, with Forza the minor improvements in a short amount of time are acceptable to reviewers.
Honestly other than interiors and paint jobs what has Turn 10 done to give its game its own personality? Last I checked most of the additions to Forza 4 are things that GT5 added.
My wallet, it weeps from the upcoming month.
I hate to see the reviews for this game.
A big part remaking this game was to give North American (European as well?)players a chance to play a game that never came state side, so of course a lot of the game is archaic, because they didn't want to touch the core of the game to deprive the players of the original experience.
If they revamped it to fit more with modern day RPG standards the purists would cry foul for changing the core of a classic game, at the same time, by...
I love the fighting game genre.
I'm not competitive level material in any sense of the word, but just the technicality and depth of it is incredible to me.
When people take time out of their day to study things like Frame counts, the most efficient counters, what combos into what, how to approach certain characters when fighting them, etc. it shows a level of dedication really only rivaled by high level RTS players. Seeing people make split second decisions based on this i...
Tomba! 2 was sooooooo good. Seriously Sony, throw the NA PSN a bone with the PS1 classics.
Because PS3 gamers have been waiting for this game for over half a decade. 360 gamers likely don't even remember this game unless it's brought up out of the blue.
Same with the original FFXIII.
Didn't they already say they weren't using Crystal Tools as their Engine for Versus XIII?

Only been waiting for these to release since they announced them earlier this year. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK you PlayStation Blog. Seriously, this ruined my week.
When did Monster Hunter become a platforming game?
You can bet your ass Capcom is going to put a Monster Hunter on the Vita. I can also say with the utmost confidence it will have much more content than this. Don't even kid yourself; go play more N64 ports on your 3DS.
Finally; I haven't played an action-rpg in ages; last one I really got into was Folklore.
Now to see if Squeenix can stick to their word for once and keep it exclusive.
Well, the magazine is owned and published by GameStop; if you notice with their other reviews the higher scoring games tend to be those that are sure to get tons of pre-orders a la Call of Duty, Gears, Uncharted, etc. Without a ton of pre-orders or hype surrounding it to ensure that GameStop will make good money from the release as well as several other more lucrative FPS games coming out I doubt there was much incentive to give this game a decent score.
I've played the game and e...
If the competition is to appeal to 12 year old prepubescents, sure; those games get tons of sales from the holidays when the Little Timmys of the world need their Mommies to buy the game for them.
With an exception to Forza which is a great series.
Battlefield, Skyrim, and a few others deserve much more attention this holiday.
This game is great, from what I've played of it it's a lot less newbie friendly than SSF4; frames are a lot less forgiving, inputs are stricter and parrying adds another layer of depth.
@Clizzz
Is this a joke? People move around in the industry all the time, they work where they can find work. Just because someone was hired because they had a hit game on their resume doesn't make them a new amazing asset. It's not like they got John Carmack; they got some guys who worked on some game that happened to be good.
Also there's obviously a huge difference between acquiring a development studio and a few notable new employees.
Where's VI? I thought it was going to release alongside Chrono when it came out.
