As long as Activision keeps Infinity Ward involved in some future versions then all is good. With the depth of COD4 I can easily see myself play this version until COD6 comes out. If Infinity Ward was smart they would devote resources to create lots of new downloadable content (maps/missions) to hold people over until their next version. WWII has really been tapped out for a while now.
If I remember correctly, CBS laid waste to a lot of it's copyrighted material on youtube. There is nothing other than effort that prevents the other companies from making youtube remove their material. Not that I want to happen but it is rather presumptuous to assume that these things will always be easily attainable and free.

They have no validity or credibility in the eyes of organizations. You have people that populate them with crap names and there is absolutely nothing to prove those you signed it actually signed it. A real petition usually has the person's information and a signature to further validate it as genuine...sure someone can just forge signatures but that is far more difficult than say going through a phone book and typing names in an internet page to pad a list. Sony backers have been doing nothing but complain about EA and what a $hit company they are...wonder how many of those complainers will run with this because it is a pro-Sony article. Business guys aren't really known for their math. They would have to almost double what they sold in the first year in about a quarter of the time. Price drop helped but not to rate they propose.
I wonder how long it will take (and how much) to start seeing different piece sets available for download. heh
The red dot is a laser sight. If you ever use or go through the nightvision levels you will see the laser emanations...although there really isn't any dot painted on the target in game. Correct on the arcade mode though. As far as the sights...personally I prefer the silencer, but I can see where the "dot" would be helpful to the less experience player. In the end it is about keeping the game fun for everyone...at least as best as they can.
I love how a good number of people will make excuses for one corporation and then hate all over another. Bottom line is that none of these corporations are angels when it comes to making money. Only the fanboys try to make a debate out of it.
What this will mainly get used for is public kiosks and such. Once the price of OLED technologies start to fall for the larger touch displays then the tech should be available to a larger market.
