Ok...so MS closes the studio down. The bigger question is where are these developers going? Are they leaving to create a new company, going to a competing company, or....is MS absorbing them into some new internal MS development company yet to be announced?

Not if Microsoft partners up with someone like Toshiba to handle the hardware portion of the project. Teaming up with a major hardware vendor would bring in credibility.
What kind of video is this thing sporting...because obviously it will not be game worthy unless your game is solitaire. A top of the line video card consumes a lot of power and generates a lot of heat. This is great for ordinary PCs, but for us gamers it doesn't really apply.

PS3 didn't save blu-ray...Time Warner did. If Time Warner didn't decide to pull their support of HD-DVD the format war would still be going on regardless of the PS3. It was Time Warner's impatience and desire to try and pull in more profit by not having to support 2 formats that sealed HD-DVD's fate.

It was stated that there will be an option to use motion sensing or not. I would assume the appearance would be similar with either method even though you won't get the true report feel without the motion controller. No sense going over the edge until we have some definitive proof/screen shots.
Read up on the definition of BIAS. As stated, his comments are obviously BIASED against MS. I didn't see additional information about the things Sony or Nintendo did...why is that? The only individuals fearful are those with fragile egos that base their entire self worth on a single piece of hardware or corporation. You can't have it both ways by dogpiling on the competition and then pi$$ and moan when others jump all over "your" company.
That's not the point. The fact remained that the PS2 DVD issue was substantial enough for people to complain about it and Sony (either because of ego or money) chose to pretend like the problem didn't exist. I wasn't about the argue about magnitude between the 2 incidents but just because the DVD issue may have existed it lesser quantities DOES NOT excuse Sony from what they did.
As I said before...this discussion should be about the WHOLE industry and not just one company. Obv...
