I distinctly remember Call of Duty 4 commercials stating now on PS3...at least in the states. Welcome to the wonderful world of advertising...people should pay more attention to what is NOT said. I will leave it up to the coporate cheerleaders to debate who is the worst at it...like it matters.
The game has the looks...now as long as it has the personality and isn't high maintenance we might have a winner.

Sales don't determine multiplayer gaming success. What would be a good measuring stick would be the number of players connected on a daily basis playing the game...NOT...personal opinion. Not that there anything wrong with either game, but the multiplatform games will always have the advantage when you talk about the number of players. Pretty much saw that against Halo from time to time...won't be any different for Killzone either.
If you go by the potential numbers...I would venture to say that there will be same if not more copies out there for MW2. Especially after the success of COD4. Might want to reserve that "FPS King" title for AFTER the smoke clears.
5 years development and an entire studio dedicated to that ONE project. Not every game gets that kind of time or attention. KZ2 should do well and I would suggest that PS3 owners show up for it...otherwise Guerrilla could find themselves in Free Radical's shoes.
A lot of this functionality would have to work across all sites (i.e. "This currently only works with Craig's List"). That will require massive amounts of time and effort to get this tech stood up fully. As mentioned...this needs to be accessible to all to make it truly successful...which is what I think he meant by the interface not being complete yet. One of the things to keep in mind is that a lot of the laws in the US are argued from pre-existing cases and their outcomes. While this particular case may seem straight forward to some there is some grey area tap dancing and twisting going on. The problem is that this case might be used as a base argument for the next case...and so on. This type of behavior could end up generating a chinese telephone type of result....
They need to ditch the BS deal with AT-T and unlock the hardware for all networks. That would definitely have the competition scrambling.
That was the first FPS for me that made competitive multiplayer fun. Remember many a lunch hour exploding co-workers to bits with the rocket launcher. =)

What exactly does the existence of a PSN account have anything to do with basic knowledge of economics? In their current position it will be difficult for Sony to offer a price cut...no matter how much the Sony faithful want to stomp their feet and hold their breath. NP Games...I can see where you are coming from...with what they charge for games these days, people do expect more. As long as I get the hours out of it that I should then I am usually satisfied. I just want people to try what I mentioned before writing off the game...they may be surprised. Especially with vs mode with friends. If not...then at least they tried...rent or download demo before buying if unsure.
