This is a traditional multicore design...

The cell is a number cruncher...this is a full fledged multi core processor.
I would venture to say that a fair number of people who own an Xbox 360 also own a PC and that same PC sits on the same network connection with said Xbox. Instead of including the browser and risk opening up security holes for the Xbox...why not just include remote desktop functionality into the 360 to remote connect to any Windows based PC on my network. Then you could essentially do anything on your PC from your Xbox (browse, email, etc.)...and you get the desired functionality while remain...
...and not a single one of those games have seen the light of day either, yet you are claiming the very same thing. You guys wish to get into an ego debate about the unproven then take it into the open zone and quit smelling the place up in here.
From what I heard they will both make an appearance in the game but will not be part of the main story arc. You can't stop the train!
Has anyone heard any kind of dates for Castle Crashers or War World? It has been taking FOREVER for those to see the light of day!
You mean Steve Jobs...the same guy who stole the concept from Xerox while on his little tour of their facility?
Petabyte > 50gb
Wasn't that the whole basis for other companies wanting bluray over the other format?
Communications companies have been going to fiber optic backbones for the last few years. The big hold up will most likely be the cost/time implementation for the control hardware. Most of the companies that just installed fiber are not just going to upgrade their newest existing control hardware until they have gotten their return on their current equipment.
As far as Gorgon's comment...it is no different than Time Warner forcing bluray down the common consumer's throat. Had T...
Until they can make a version of Linux that is easy to install/use/manage for the common person (NO tech background) then they will never pose any serious threat to Windows. When Vista first came out I said it would be the WinME of this decade. It just always seemed like Vista was just something to tide people over until Windows 7 actually made it out...kind of like WinME to XP. I deal with Vista in a work environment and don't have any problems with using it, but I will personally will not u...
As in hostile takeover. If the board for Yahoo doesn't want to work a mutual deal then MS will probably try to buy the company out from under them.
Like all the anti-Microsoft vista this and vista that stuff that has inundated this site on a regular basis...please. Yeh...them Sony fanboys are angels. You wish to complain...make sure you complain to ALL the guilty parties...because ALL fanboys are the problem.
Although it is probably too early to say...it sounds like the only thing that might have someone pick this up over COD4 would be their desire to use vehicles or play on bigger maps.
The locked for purchase weapons is a load of crap. Maybe one compromise would be to allow weapons for purchase for those who wish to have them right away as opposed to gain the experience to unlock them. It might be rather annoying for those who choose to earn them but at least it might allow EA to ...
Well...you can go online to xbox.com and view a lot of the theme/pic sets. Although that is a pain and their website is not as up to date with the newer ones. Some kind of view page would be nice to ensure you know what you are buying...one other thing that might be nice would be some kind of popular/download counts. That would allow you to sort by quality/rating.

Sounds like Jobs is trying to possibly come up with something to compete with MS Surface solution. This would obviously be too cost prohibitive to be used in anything other than some kind of store display and/or kiosk. Even then...I am not too sure if they would be in direct competition or just a matter of trying to steal each others thunder.
A sony magazine stating that PSN is better than XBL? Not surprising and discountable.
Now this would be the beauty of live. Imagine if these XBL games acted as plugins to the actual game. Say someone made an archery XBL game that would be accessible from within Fable 2. Say you go to a certain field and for those that have purchased the game it would appear like a tournament and then spawn you in the game when you enter...for those that didn't buy it an empty field with a tournament closed sign. XBL should be able to allow them weave these things together with the possibility ...
Is that your way of dealing with your pissed off feelings?....by posting the same ole regurgitated crap? If you don't have anything pertinent to add to the subject at hand (No PS3 Beta) then get the hell out of this thread...back to the open zone with you. In there you can pointlessly blabber about anything you heart desires...just like all the rest in the psycho ward.
To put up swastikas, to put up porn, to put up copyrighted material. It's a great idea...until the lawsuit parade comes right down their street. Freedom of speach usually takes the back seat anytime minors or money is involved...unfortunately.
Unfortunately you get a lot of the usual articles that list him as a game creator with a ho hum feel to the whole thing.
The man created a whole new form of gaming and in essence a whole new society of interest. He brought about the birth of the RPG...think of all the games out now (board or computer) that have some type of RPG element to it.
For those who truly understand...we will always be in gratitude for what he has brought into the world. If there one thing...
Nice thing was that it was offered for free at one point for those lucky enough to grab it at the time.
