ARGH. I disagreed with my own post. Stupid MOUSE. ;) I hate Wednesdays.
If it's a good game, I'd rather have the option of having it than not. Wouldn't you? Nothing wrong with ports. Gamers are acting more and more like spoiled brats these days.
Don't quit your day job.
Please, no achievements, points, etc... Leave those for the kids who spend 4 hours a day on XBL. Crap like that turns off casual online gamers and may even push them away. It's a bit juvenile and screams "Lookit me! I'm special".
Wow, are you a professional writer? You have a special knack for the English language.
Damn it, now you have me all distracted. I'm quitting early and Rezin'. I love that 5th-level soundtrack.
Great price for great machine, but Elmo...? Hmmm.
Did you misspell "clothes" in your other post too? "The content for PS3 could be anything from also episode(s) to downloadable cloths, armor or vehicles."
Oh yeah. Guess so. ??? Or were you referring to gang headrags/cloths? ;)
Well now moms can save on shipping by getting both items for their kids. ;)
It's not specifically because they're on 50GB discs, it's due to the encoding. Also, judging one or the other based on viewing them in a Best Buy (or similar retailer) is pointless. Those are not optimal (and often are disimilar) configurations.
Love the look of Flow. Now, if only we could have a 1080P version of REZ... F-me I'd be in heaven.
You guys can't see a difference between the two? Oh boy.
"How on earth can you get more storage-space to be a bad thing?"
That's because it's on the Sony side. If it was the other way around, they'd be touting it as a gift from God.
One thing that I've been wondering is whether or not using uncompressed data instead of tighter compressed data would positively affect processor load. If it's not using resources to decompress, perhaps the processing power could be put to better use. Maybe someone with a greater knowledge of hardware/programming could comment.
Sorry, Sandy, but that's a rather ignorant statement. If that's the way technology worked, then nothing new would ever be released. You're too impatient.
It's too early to judge, on either format. Early hardware, lack of mindshare, no "bulk" PS3 user base. We're really going to see things take off in the Spring.
If you re-read that you'll see that it's referring to two separate issues, doing some multi-platform games *and* investing in existing IPs, e.g. DMC. The quote does nothing to support the idea that DMC is going anywhere.
That's not to say it won't, but you should use something else to support the argument. I for one, as a horror collector, would love to see Dead Rising on the PS3.
Q: Exactly.
Reading comprehension has never been a strong point for fanboys. They have difficulty reading in context.
Very nice design.
