Don't forget that Summer ends on September 22nd.
Hero:
Last thing I read on the 200GB disc was that it would be compatible with firware-upgradeable players, i.e. PS3. That must have been at least 6 months ago though...
This is the phone I've been waiting for since last year, but it didn't materialize in North America last Oct-Dec. as initially reported. Too late, little 960, now I'm looking at the Xperia. <drool>
I think Sony-Ericsson is going to skip NA with this one and go with the X1 instead.
Yeah, that Xperia is pretty hot. I've had my eye on it since the announcement, and can't wait for some North American reviews of this thing.
The 16GB is available for order between $230-300 online. It's not 400 bucks.
I don't usually pull a grammar fit, but this problem shows up a lot in N4G pieces and is easily correctable. (Esp. when the original article title was correct to begin with.)
Title is wrong. Should be "Gloats", not "Gloat". The company name in this case should be treated as a singular noun.
Lawman has apparently missed the dozen of gameplay videos that have been in circulation for months.
Sent in my launch-model PS2 3 years after the fact due to DREs, they shipped it back fully repaired, parts replaced, with a new warranty, within 6 days. I only paid to ship it to the depot (about 14 bucks).
This story was only posted because it says "Sony". It's otherwise irrelevant, and probably only posted for some sort of tit-for-tat reason over 360-repair/service stories.
It's only for OTA (over the air) cable via antenna, not cable.
Ditto - got a 60GB on release day. Still running smoothly. These things are so well built.
(IF ONLY...)
GOODBYE!
Good to see you go.
You had nothing on "ELECTRONIC GAMING", the best gaming magazine of all time.
You sucked. Nighty-night. Hopefully your absence will reduce the amount of fanboys and increase the amount of gamers who just want to have fun rather than pretend they're playing the right machine.
Bunchawannabees.
I agree -- WTF is up with not being able to map any button to any function with this gen (and the latter half of last-gen) of games? GMAFB.
Not being able to use the dpad for steering in recent GTA games seriously p1ssed me off. Seriously. And the button config constrictions of the first best PS3 game--Resistance--p1ssed me off even more.
Come on.

It also has center-wrapping "armour".
Too bad the job wasn't completed with, oh I don't know... some *context*?
The issue being...?
TENKA! Holy kcuf, forgot about that. :) Right up there with Disruptor.
Bu..bu..but then Sony would be FORCING you to have a camera! ;)
It looks like depth-of-field blurring on a small insect/plan in the foreground. It's not a gargantuan creature. Looks more like a small grasshopper on a rock.

I've actually been looking forward to the final release version. From what I've read it's a great update, and speeds up XP noticeably (system and gaming).
With that being said, I'm holding off on RC2 as I did with RC1 until reviews of the final version are out.
