I'm also sick of that chart. ;)
Eyes are not all by the numbers. The general fact is that an HD image is easily perceived over an SD image on a reasonably-sized screen at a reasonable distance.
I'm so sick of this myth: "The differences between Blu-Ray and DVD are hard to see on a TV less than 50"
Sure, maybe to gran and gramps, but even on my 24" 1080p monitor I can easily tell the difference from a few feet away. Even between 720p and 1080p.
No.
OMF. Seriously, it's bad enough when someone posts and article with the same bad grammar or spelling as the original, but to go out of your way to use "Bad" instead of the original, correct "Badly" is such a joke.
Even if the original site corrected the title after this was posted, it's a shame the person who submitted this didn't do so upon submission.
I think this is why the game "Dictionary Attack" fa1led so m1s3rably. (Sorry, that ...
The DS is a) A Nintendo, b) a solid gaming machine, c) cheaper than the PSP, and d) A Nintendo. It will always be ahead.
The PSP is a) technologically superior, b) a solid gaming machine, c) cooler, d) a Sony. It will always be playing catch-up.
They can't compete, they just have to keep being what they are as long as it takes to get the next iteration out. No one is actually losing this battle. In fact, I think Sony is surprised they've managed to increase their ...
THANK YOU. Bubs.
I viewed this article just to post that very same sentiment.
People, c'mon. At least make sure the title doesn't have any errors.
I was hoping the DLC would open up the Amusement park and some of the other locations, offering interactive side-games etc...
("It's a trap!")
This will not end well.
I still think that we're eventually going to see an "MGSX" release on the 360 one of these days. The affirmations that "*MGS4* is PS3-only" do not rule out a remix, side-story, or compilation-type release of an MGS game on another platform.
There's too much antagonism between the platform fans based on whether or not "Metal Gear 'Next-Gen'" will appear on a non-PS3 machine that it's laughable. I foresee that if or when a Metal Gear appears on the 3...
More fansturbation. I call again, for the flurundreth time, to set up a blog channel/subsection for stuff like this. If you can have "Rumours", you can have "Opinions".
lukewind: Are you sure you haven't been playing "Little Bullsh1t Poster BETA" instead? Get back to us after you confirm.
Well, after "Xbox360 fanboys are playing LittleBigPlanet", there really isn't much more to say, other than: Hey, that's a great dump they've created -- I hope I can earn it.
(Just to clarify: My response was to Psycho's incorrect use of "MB" for megabit in his comment, and has nothing to do with the actual chip in question.)
"MB" is "megabyte".
"Mb" is "megabit".
Actually all joking aside, "PMP" is a generic term. "Personal Media Player."
Pure fansturbation. WTF is up with that video. I mean, c'mon.
I'm kind of liking it, except there's currently no way (that I can find) to increase the font size. I've got a 1080p monitor and while it's only 3-4 feet away from me I'd like to be able to read the content without leaning. I was hoping the little browser window would hook into the regular browser functions, but I'm left hoping for a future upgrade.
(While I don't necessarily disagree with your sentiment, -1 bub for you because you are coming across like a moron.)
Does the Wii fold? Does the 360 fold? Do either of them offer web browsers?
To me the Lifestyle thingamagic is a great enhancement of what used to be a screensaver. I can't get news on my PC screensaver, so...well..., wtf is the problem?
Besides, I like being able to look at Berlin, Stockholm, and some African cities' news. Anyone complaining is crying sour (sweet, sweet?) tears of partisan distraction.
When they all can fold, then criticize. Until ...
Working for a game development company in the mid-90s I saw first-hand how projects can go on for a couple of years with nothing substantial to show for them until they're axed. Some games just never see the light of day, especially from small start-up developers. With WarDevil we just won't know until we know.
I'd settle for a 1080p cell-shaded game if this particular side-project actually became a game.
