This generation more than previous generations has fostered an unreasonable sense of entitlement among "gamers". I don't know how large of a part age plays, but I've noticed everything has to be "NOW! NOW! NOW!" with fans these days.
Wow. A delay! Imagine that! Y'know, crap happens.
I think this spoiled attitude is just a by-product of the by-the-minute nature of the internet media. Ever notice how a lot of stories start in the morning based on...
This is looking very, very sweet. Kudos to all involved. Great job.
My only concern is that the moderated comments section will be avoided since everyone is used to the wild west-style, multiple-accounts battlefield.
I'll stick to the more level-headed area myself. It's a great addition, and I wish you (us) all with its success. I do hope that it helps improve the perception other sites/forums have of N4G.
How the hell did this get approved with that awful typo? It's "heroinE", not "heroin". Big difference.
Stupid and lazy.
Oh so good.
Congrats, ND, you done good. (sic)
Uncharted was the first game I played twice in a row and enjoyed every living MF'ing minute of it. First time on Hard (15 hours, 56 treasures, 820pts), second on Crushing/Mirrored world (12 hrs 100% complete). Fantfreakingtastic.
This is not a game I plan on trading in. It'll sit safely on my shelves with all my Armored Core games. ;)
Here's to Million #2! (And Uncharted #2.)
+Bub for your av. ;)
Good to see this is being universally received as an equal-opportunity port, pretty much like DMC4.
I love that there's a lack of discernible differences between platforms with these games, because it makes fanboys on both sides practically implode trying to find something worthwhile to cry about.
[off-topic rant]
I also get a laugh when I see these ratings systems. E.g. "4.75 out of 5"... What's next, 3.14159265 out of 5"?

PlayTV currently only works with OTA (over the air) channels, not cable. Keep your cable box.
The GI article apparently confirms the pics are in-game. I'll read the article later for myself and double-check.
Sorry to have to break it to you, some of them appear to be screenshots of an early build. (Some are too zoomed in for me to tell, but the more rectangular pics and the one with the running Chimeras could be either.)
By looking at the bigger version of the single Chimera pic and you can tell by the textures that it was a screenshot.
We'll hopefully know more on Thursday (Insomniac podcast).
Showtime is owned by CBS Corp.
The article incorrectly implies that MS and Sony are supporting DivX in the same way. The reality is that only Sony has complete and official DivX *certification* while the Xbox can only play DivX files.
Big difference. Actually, game development-wise and media-wise, it's a HUGE difference.
Let's not overstate it. Warner's defection pretty much assured HBO's and New Line's switch too. You can't count Warner, New Line and HBO and Universal as 4, really, it's basically two.
This is not representative of other companies falling in line with Warner.
Sure, I expect Universal (and eventually Paramount) to follow suit, HBO is under the Warner umbrella and has not surprised anyone with this announcement.
Warner's defection reasonably guaranteed that its subsidiaries/fellow companies would also go Blu-ray. Same with New Line.
I was going to ask where Zhuk was, but then I looked at theMart's tshirt. Now I know where he's hiding.
The "10 Million users" includes free and paid subscriptions, as well as non-360 Live users. (Original Xbox users, that is. I don't think the 10M includes Windows Live users, but I could be wrong.
Microsoft has never released info on how many Gold members there are. Even if you assume it's a third or half, that's still a lot of subscription money, though.
("Exodus.") ;)
I'm loving the idea of creating a flaming magma clown's head that rolls around with an infernally lashing tongue. Oh yeah. Twisted Metal Planet, baby, indeed.
A little before your time, probably.
This news makes me almost as happy as I was the first time I played a near-arcade-perfect GORF on my ColecoVision.
Seriously.
(Oh, and I'll kcuf you up in any ColecoVision battle, b-atches. I'll Montezuma Revenge the kcuf outta yer ass.)
4 suggestions. (It was going to be 5, but since I can't edit my previous comment from a couple of hours ago, my edit-time-limit suggestion is now irrelevant. ;))
1: While I appreciate the stylistic intent of labeling moderated and unmoderated comments as "Gamer Zone" and "Open Zone", I think this is a situation where more definite titles along the lines of "Moderated" and "Unmoderated" would be more appropriate. "Gamer Zone" cou...
