I've already pre-ordered Detroit from Shopto - you get Blade runner 2049 bundled with it, and so I just could't resist. I love my story based games, especially the ones with multiple choices and multiple play-throughs. My idea of gaming heaven :)
It stared along long time ago with my first choose-your-own-adventure book by Ian Linigstone. Anyone remember those? :)
That's exactly what GG said about Horizon: Zero Dawn when it released. But when it began to sell big numbers, they released and expansion. God of WAr is breaking sales record on the PS4, I'm willing to bet that within the next 6-12 months well get news on a God of War expansion a la The Frozen Wilds - which released 9 months after Horizon.
I'm still hoping for a reboot of Heavenly Sword. I hope after the success of HellBlade (and God of War) Sony wil allow Ninja Theory (or even Cory Barlog) to reboot that game. It would be awesome to take what has been learned from the GOW reboot an implement it in Heavenly Sword.
It's too late for Microsoft this gen, everybody knows this. Game pass might be a great idea for the investors as they are getting revenue without and significant input, and it means they really don't have to invest in any new AAA franchises, as they are already collecting revenue. Backwards compatibility masks this issues very well, as since the xbox fanbase seems to be content with playing last gen games.
Xbox doesn't have another 4-5 years to develop a AAA ex...
Isn't it telling, that you don't see these types of headlines when it comes to Telltales' Games? Or games like Life Is Strange? Or even games like Fire Watch etc. But because it is not an indie game, and because it is an exclusive, suddenly it's not a game, but an "interactive movie". I guess Telltales Batman is not a game, and Life is Strange is not a game?! Please, your bias is leaking out of your pen here.
And again the article goes on about th...
I'm really looking forward to D:BH. I enjoyed the demo, and was pleasantly surprised at some of the endings, and how my choices led to those endings.
Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? The media, and especially the Games media are absolutely disgraceful when it comes to this stuff. The slightest accusation against a person of company and every one reaches for their pitchforks because the accusation must be true. The same thing happened with Warhorse studio's with accusations of racism just because they recreated historical 15th century bohemia in Kingdom Come, and didn't put any people of colour in it. I...
Sony's on a roll. They're going to be dominating the headlines going into E3. I can't wait to see what they bring this year.
I wouldn't say it's hanging by a thread. Out of 97 reviews on Metacritic, only about 42 of those reviews gave a score lower than 95. The lowest score being 80. About 55 of those reviews have a score of 95 and above, with 34 reviews scoring the game at 100.
So, the point is that the metascore is unlikely to drop below 95 unless we get a large number of reviews that are scoring the game below 60 - which I don't think is going to happen. The opposite is more likel...
How many more 10/10 scores does this game need to shift the Meta score to 96?
Yeah I'm a sucker for Limited Editions, not as much for the tat, but for the Dynamic Theme. I've used Shopto before actually, they were really good. I think I've learned my lesson now, at the very least I'll chose the 'click and collect' option.
Seriously, it hasn't been out for a week yet and it's already breaking records. It'll be interesting to see what first week sales will be.
I hear you man. Unfortunately God of War Limited Edition is exclusive to GAME. It's appalling that they secure exclusive editions but then don't ship them out in time for release. All the instore allocations are sold out as well, so I'm stuck. :(
GAME let me down yet again. I called them up asking where my pre-order was, and why it hadn't been delivered today? Their answer? They can't track the package, and I have to wait for 10 days! 10 days!!! Before I can get a refund or cancel the order.
Cue Spartan Rage: "AaAAAaaarRRrrRrrrrrrgghg ghh!!!!"
That was absolutely hilarious! :D
Now this is high praise indeed. A game that actually lives up to the hype. I can't wait anymore, I might just have to hunt down a midnight launch party...
If you game on PC, then you have the difficult choice of a PS4 or the Switch.
I love it :) I dont usually get "me" time unless everyone is fed, watered, and asleep. I prefer it that way tbh, no noise, no distractions, and no worries. Just complete immersion. 😊
I don't think photo mode was actually promised. No doubt it'll get implemented at a later date, a la Horizon Zero Dawn, but I think it was very much an afterthought.
How do you spell vaporware? Anyone remember Agent, that was supposed to be developed by Rockstar? Or Deep Down that was supposed to come from Capcom? FFVII remake is slowly falling into that category unfortunately.
