Guys need to stop watching this bad boy and go play the game for themselves.
It's a great tactic, simple shift the goal post so people think you're doing better than you actually are. Lest all be honest about it, they were getting destroyed, and their sales numbers made then look bad in comparison with the meteoric record breaking sales figures of the PS4 (and later on the Nintendo Switch).
What happens when Nintendo start posting high growth attachment rates, or Sony start posting high revenue growth figures, will Microsoft change the goal...
The game was actually laugh out loud funny in parts, the writting in this game is absolutely awesome.
I have my legacy consoles, and my legacy games. I have so much of a backlog, I very very rarely ever get a chance to boot up old games. The only one I booted up recently was Red Dead, but man after a few hours I was like... "yeah, I'm done" The nostalgia was more fun than the reality.
I'm fine with another 2-3 years before the next generation starts. After the phenomena that is God of War, I'm hoping we see a sequel before I have to buy a new console to play it.
Who cares, it's already confirmed as multiplat release. This is just drama for the sake of drama.

Why am I getting disagrees? Competition is good in this industry, trust me, without the competition MS would not be as consumer friendly as it is. In fact, without competition neither would Sony or Nintendo.
Well congratulations on the continued records setting growth and achievement for Xbox. It's good to hear that E3 2018 will be "the biggest E3 yet" for Xbox. I'm looking forward to it, nothing like healthy competition to keep the fires of industry and innovation burning.
Yeah I think FFVII isn't going to make it out the gate this gen. Unless this gen runs for another 5 years... which it won't. Next gen consoles will be out in 3 years tops, and that's not going to be enough time to accomplish the kind of scope that FFVII needs.

Well,new games get released, and people move on, why is this even news. God of War has just released, and that'll draw a crowd, give it a few weeks and Detroit will release, and people will move on, and so the cycle continues.
I don't think there's much coming out in April to dethrone it tbh.
The article fails to address the elephant in the room - exclusive AAA games. Otherwise, why not just make an xbox branded PC a la steambox?
I'll still be playing God of War - going to try for the platinum; but yeah, Detroit will be next on my list.

I loved the demo, I only wished it had been different from what we had seen so many times before. But I'm still excited for the game though.
