...and what games do you play that make You a Gamer, huh? (your first lame a$$ point). You think sales is what makes a good game, you're obviously a Wii fit fanboy then, because their sales trump any other game out there. (Your second even more lame a$$ point). How do you knw Crysis 2 has a vibrant city? did you see any pedestrians in the trailer? any vehicles driving around? (your third lame a$$ pathetic point).

TO each his own, but to make comments like "You aren&#...

With a few good looking shooters coming out in 2011, it'll be interesting to see which one takes the crown. My money is on KZ3, as Vanquish, FEAR3, Red Faction Armageddon, and even the mighty Crysis 2 will not be able to stand up against GG opus (Heck compare them to KZ2, and they already look old, Crysis 2 does look good thought I have to admit).

The known Fact is that there has not been ONE multiplatform game that stands up to exclusives, be they on 360 or PS3. And I&#...

He's obviously throwing down the gauntlet and trying to build hype for his game. Hmm let me see, his game is releasing 2011, KZ3 also releasing 2011. Lets see who's left standing when the dust settles.

But for the record, my money's on Killzone 3.

Killzone 2 is still The Best looking technically achieved shooter on any console. That my friends is a simple fact!

I've played the first two games, and I have to say neither of them were at the top of their graphical game at the time of their release... but But, the gameplay is all where it's at. Don't get me wrong I do want a cutting edge graphical experience with my game, but all I'm saying is with the Deus Ex series, the gameplay coupled with the branching story have always been it's biggest selling point.

I'd have to say the PS3, although as many have already pointed out, although it is unfair to compare the two at this point in time as the PS3 has not been out for 10 years like the PS2. The PS3 does everything the PS2 does, but much better. Event he failure rate of the PS3 is better than that of the PS2. I wonder what the failure rate of the 360 is compared with the original xbox (sorry had to go there :)

They prolly want to give Move a lot of breathing space at E3, gone is E3 '05 when the KZ2 trailer reveal WAS the show. But then again, if they have playable demo's of games like KZ3, LBP2, Infamous 2, good heavens Uncharted 3 (even a trailer of Uncharted 3 would win E3 for Sony). I'm guessing E3 '10 is Sony's to loose tbh.

I have been waiting for this game since they initially delayed it. Shame about all the poor reviews, I would have definately picked it up. Now I'll invest my money in Read Dead instead of this mess (hey that kinda rhymes).

I think GGcould have dont ore with the squad based nature of teh game, both in SP and MP. In SP, the enemy Helghast don't seem to fight in squads, it more everyman for himself (or the emperor as was the case)The ISA fought in squads though, but again this was mainly 'on rails', and you could not call for a medic for example, or call for an engineer to set up a turret. Although the multiplayer had these elements, there were no bonuses for working and sticking with your squad (apart...

Aryan Loeb commenting on the EU playstation blog said - "Yep, that’s Sev. And yes he is having some hard times. What do you think being stranded on an alien planet with hostile environment does to a man?"

But yes it probably still opens up the possibility of infiltrating the Helghast, sneaking missions and all manner of brutality.

Let it begin! Let it Begin!!!

MGS4 is definately and aquired taste. I've played every MGS gaem released on sony consoles, but even I found IV to be a bit overly long. It is still one of my top 5 PS3 games of all time though. Here's waiting for teh rumoured trophy patch.

What a massive dissapointment MW2 was. It's no wonder IW went the way of Free Radical after Haze... which actually made me ashamed of owning a PS3 at the time!!!

I remember State of Emergency, if I remember correctly it was developed by Rockstar shortly after GTAIII, and was suppose to be awesome all out carnage. Turned out to be the biggest letdown ever. I think I traded it the same day I got it.

You see fanboys are considered 'Elitist'. "My console/game of choice is better, more superior etc etc than yours." This is one form of elitism. I know from your article this is notat you are addressing, but rather that gaming, and game developers should aspire to higher (moral?) values.

It would be interesting to hear your take on games like Metal Gear Solid, Ico, even games like Manhunt. Games which attempted some form of commentary on human nature and the ...

I would love a paralel campaign showing the Helghast side of teh conflict. The backstory for KZ is very rich, if you read through it on the killzone web site. GG have yet to really tap into any of it. Good to see that they are addressing storytelling in KZ3, should make for a very interesting campaign indeed.

Anyone who's actually played the corinth river level of KZ2 will know that GG surpassed the target render by a few milestones. Watch both side by side, and you'll see the the level of density, the dynamic effects, smoke, debris the physics and animations, the fire effects, everything adds up to make the target render look flat and barren.

For all teh hate it has received, since the release of Killzone 2 there has not been a better looking, and technically advanced sh...

Ever since Sony removed backwards compatibility from the PS3, we all knew it was because some bright spark at Sony HQ figured, "hey why not sell them the PS2 back catalogue instead?"

And the gamers will buy the games they've already owned, played and trsaded, all because it now "remastered in HD"

Hope bright spark at least got a promotion!!!

KZ2 had 32x32 and maintained its graphical fidelity in multiplayer. I'm betting the PS3 can handly crysis 2 16x16 multiplayer games, and maybe even 32x32! Here's hoping.

I'm so stoked for KZ3 right now, not sure about incorporating move though. I hope all these add ons (move and 3D) don't detract from the development of KZ3!
