It is obvious that you have not played through either Uncharted 1 nor Uncharted 2! Why - because not one person who has played through either game AND enjoyed Uncharted would ever argue that Uncharted 2 'tried too hard', or that Uncharted had better level design than Uncharted 2, or that the characters were better in Uncharted 1. Why - because everytghing that made Uncharted such a great game was present, but better implemented in Uncharted 2!
Uncharted 2 has set so many benchmarks for gaming this gen - story-telling, animation, gameplay, multiplayer, graphics etc. Naughty Dog deserve all the praise they get. The Game of the Year Editino almost makes me want to buy it (almost because I've platinumed UC2, and played it half a dozen time already!).
For all the PS3 owners who have'nt payed this yet - WHY?!? Well, now you have no excuse, go get this game!!!
Publishers should instead lobby to get a cut from every second hand game sold through retail, instead of 10 dollar fees to unlock multiplayer - or whatever EA and probably Activision come up with next!
I'm loving DA:O and am looking forward to DA2. The graphics look mightily improved, and hopefully they also improve the combat animations from the first game - which do look very wooden most of the time.
I admit that I do shop for a bargain from internet shops and supermarkets. Not sure how dedicated gaming retailers can counter this. one way I guess would be to offer higher reward points per pound spent.
I remember I had a 14.4 modem, and it took abot 45minutes to connect to a server via a BBS! LoL - it was so much awesomeness back then!
Most multiplayer fun I've had though has to be the original Team Fortress hands down! It completely ruined my A-level exams. Goood times though, good times.
I seriously doubt the 3DS will release this year. But even if it did, comparing software (GT5), and hardware (kinect) as competing products is stupid.
RUSE
Sports Champions
Stary the Party - well, the kids are anywayd.
I tried RE 5 Gold Edition, and to be honest, Capcom have done a really awful job of implementing the move controls. Apart from that I'm, loving it.
Didn't really have to be on 10 separate pages, given the length of each.
Hey Baka-akaB, check out Demon's Souls - sounds like it'll be your type of game.

I think there comes a time (or certain age and responsibilities) when the climb to become a hardcore gamer requries too much time, money and sleepless nights - and you're forever relegated to being a casual gamer.
Glad they didn't can it, I just got my Dead Space Platinum today - *pats self on back* and I can't wait for Dead Space 2 to sh!t me up all over again :)
Your comment is increadibly offensive. This is not the place for religio-political garbage. If you're not here to talk about games and the gaming inustry - keep your small minded conspiracy theories to yourself, we don't care for it here!
I really don't know what to make of playing table tennis with my bare hands... there's something about it that's just... not right imo. heck even the avatars have bats in their hands... and lets face it table tennis is supposed to be played witha bat in your hand. Now I know you could just hold a bat while using kinect, but then that dettracts from what it is trying to be! I don't know, I guess I just don't get it, it simply doesn't appeal to me - playing table tennis ...
yes you should!
I think it's fair to say the Move has surpassed expectations, both as a solid peice of tech, and tha added precision and depth it adds to gameplay mechanics. I expect strong Christmas sales, and further surges in sales when AAA games like Killzone3 drop.
It's abit obvious that you only own a Wii, for whatever reason, and that's cool dude. But it's just a known fact that you get better gameplay experiences on either the 360 or PS3 - with or without motion controls.
Factor in the fact that PS3 now does motion controls better than the Wii, and you have no genuine reason (apart from a die hard love of Mario games), not to upgrade to a PS3!. with games like Dead Space Extraction already migrating, it's only a mat...
Considering Sports Champions is not bundled with Move in the UK as it is in the US, this is a good indication of both the take up rate of Move, and also the software attachment rate also. Move is definately worth the investment, me and the kids are loving it right now!
After playing Sports Champions, I'm convinced that in terms of added gameplay - Move wins. Now I know Kinect has not been released yet, but Move does not take anythign away from current gameplay mechanics, instead it adds precision, and depth to current gameplay mechanics with its motion control. Kinect on the other hand takes away established gameplay mechanics and substitutes them for on-rail experiences - whcih to me seems like a backward step. I am patiently waiting to be proved wrong...
Why oh why don't the developers lock the reticule to the centre of the screen??? Is there some technical limittion that prevents this? Wii shooters suck for the most part, preceisely because they implement this sort of control scheme. Here's hoping KZ3 has the option to lock the the aiming reticule to the cne tre of the screen!
