I can just see it now-
"Come in Shepherd, this is Admiral Hackett..."
"Shepherd here... wassup Hackett"
"Where are you Shepherd, the Reapers have reached earth..."
"Just chillin' doing some mining, you know how it is..."
lol. hopefull the reaper invasion will be the more important task than mining for ezo or whatever. Seriously, though he's a Commander! Since when do Commanders go mining?...
Damn, how do you master the jest in BF3? Whenever I get in a jet I can't shoot anything. I'm constantly popping flares so I don't get shot down :3(
The Dark Soul's /Demon Souls's series, definately. I'm sure to pick up the next one regardless.
Definately the 'Uncharted' series for me. No need for review scores or anything. Instant must buy for me.
Agree, Red Dead had so much more character than GTA IV
It would be good to catalogue your deaths as well. Would be cool to watch the final moments of your character's journey.
So not going to be "once and for all". This battle is going to rage long an hard.
But for me BF3 all the way!!!
Final Fantasy Versus XIII: What We Know so Far - It's been in development limbo for far too long, and Yoichi Wada is probably going to screw over the game.
A very interesting, and truly hardcore way to play the game. Even dark souls' doesn't do permadeath. Good Luck man, you'll need it (and a whole lot of vitamin d suppliments).
I can't wait for the Karkand expansion pack. I've still got loads of milage to go in BF3. This will defo bee my goto multiplayer for the next year probably.
The problem is with the use of the wrod "Better". Battlefield 3 may indeed be a 'better' all round game. However it will not have 'better' sales numbers.
Are we now a generation of gamers that buy games because of sales numbers, or do we buy games because of better gaming experiences?
The real question should be, will MW3 offer a better all round gaming experience than BF3?
I loled so hard. Don't see the point in graphics comparisons for the COD games. They might as well do graphic comparisons for COD4 and MW3 to really see that it's just a new map pack.
Good article and a very fun read. I have many a bitter sweet memory of BFBC2. Alas, her younger more beautiful BF3 cousin has completely seduced me, and I'm loving it :0D
Over all a good review, but why score down a miltiplayer game, that added a singleplayer campaign. If the game was primarily a singleplayer experience, with added multiplayer (Crysis 2 for example) then I'd understand the critisicm. Moreover the single player experience is not bad at all, if abit disjointed. It's actually more coherent than the campaign of MW2, not quite up there with COD 4, and it obviously borrows from Black Ops in places. I agree. But my point is, Battlefield 3 is ...
Flame retardant suit On!
PS3 is tha bestest!
*runs away and hides in nuclear bunker*
Way to skank the gamers EA/Sony. Naa not into digital dowmloads for games. For comics and music yes, games No! But that's just me :)
Dumb question. Hell YES! Buy Battlefield 3!!!
Nope not going to watch it. I've made it this far without spoiling it for myself, only another week to go :0D
I'm loving dark souls, and am about 65 hrs in at lvl 52. 15 hours in, you wouldn't have left undead burg really, and would not really have experienced the expansive levels and diverse areas. Give it a few days, and then just explore, don't bang your head against the same brick wall, and you'll be amazed just how many short cuts and hidden routes there are.
The word you're looking for is - longevity. Way to make up new words for your article (games journalists - sheesh)
Anyway OT. Longevity is really more about the gamer than the game. Some games I return to over and over again. Some just don't grab me anymore after a few hours. I'll prolly be playing BF3 long after I stop playing MW3.
