Naa... the FPS will always reign as King. Emo games have come and gone, yet we gamers still always gravitate to the instant action of the FPS, and TPS games.
While David cage is very innovative, and is making great strides in moving the industry forward; he would have a bigger impact if he used the tech within an estabilsed genre.
TIP 1:
Never disconnect when you are the 'Leader'. Especially half way though Wave 11. You will loose friends fast!
"reapparates"? who makes up these words? Why is "reappears" not sufficient.
Anyway, I can't wait to see how sorcery turns out. My interest has been 'piqued'.
The problem is that the ME3 'From Ashes' DLC is about the Protheans, i.e. the basis for the entire Mass Effect universe. This is THE central part of the ME canon. There is no way Bioware can convince gamers that it is not a 'core' component of the game. It should by rights be included in the full game.
Potentially closing down sale, from the news on the grapevine.
naa... looks more like Robert Patrick http://cghub.com/images/vie...
I completely agree, the Tuesday Friday split between US and UK is just stupid. There's no good reason why games cannot have a worldwide release.
Mind you, Shopto post their games out on a Wednesday by first class post. Which means if your lucky you'll recieve it by Thursday. Hey, a day early is still better than nothing :)
The ME3 demo had so much replayability, I put more hours into it that some full fledged games.
Get a GAME gift card with it. That way you can spend it in store. Most of their online stock is 'Sold out' anyway.
Jeez, guys need to get over themselves. Nobody is forcing you to do anything. You know what the game offers out of the box, make an informed decision and quit whining.
ofc it won't be. The ME3 stock simply got redistributed to online and other retailers. It has actually benefited online store like shopto and zavvi, and others who would have been locked out of ME£ stock due tot he GAME excusivity deal.
Plus it has caused a minor stampede amongst gamers to who had to shop around for a copy. It looks like GAME being shafted might not actually be that bad for the industry o.O
well I've imposed a media black-out on all reviews of ME3. I don't want anyones opinion to spoil my enjoyment of teh game.
yeah that's a load of B$ right there. All the games I referenced above had story progression, but the world was still open, or at least had a seamless illusion of being open. All Ubisofy have to do is leave the world open, but hide the key plot progression NPCs. How hard can that be?
Here's hoping Ubisoft make it a real open world game thins time, without those silly impassable white walls. C'mon if teh devs for infamous, prototype, Saints Row, GTA, Sktrim etc etc can all do 'open' world, why can't ubisoft?
This is precisely why I boycott any and all Reviews , until I've had a chance to play the game. Gametrailers are notorious for spoilers in their reviews.
I've imposed a blackout on all reviews for ME3. I don't want anyone's opinion spoiling my sweet sweet enjoyment :))
you need to use another site to embed the video
naa... Mass Effect 3 won't dissapoint. It'll be a phenomenaly awesome experience.
Haters will hate though... I don't underdtand it. If you don't like the game, just move on.
It's all about the Collectors Edition for me :))
"...and look out because it's got disposable income."
Well you hit the hammer right on the nail there. At the end of the day publishers and dev's will invest more heavily on what sells. Shick horrow, consumers also spend their money on what sells. I know, mind blowing stuff.
If Heavy Rain was an RPG, with the same/similar game mechanics, I'm sure it would have sold more copies.
