You should have started saving up the moment they revealed the console in June, that way by Christmas you woul dhave the cash to pick one off the shelf.
Silent Hill 2 was definately the highlight of the series for me.
Amen to that, brother.
Sounds like more excuses to me tbh. I don't know much about game engines, but if they were able make the rewind mechanic work 17 years ago, on 6th generation game engine technology - then I can't see why it's such a problem now with all the technological advances. I understand that games are more advanced and game engines - but by their own admission, this isn't an open world game; it short linear game with one unique game mechanic.
I honestly think they sh...
Ah man, you got me going witht hat song now.... 😅
It's worse than that, games journalist are known for creating a fake hit piece to generate clicks, and then a week later the same site releases another hit piece article arguing for the opposing view. Anything to get those clicks in.
I'll get this game eventually, I'm still trying to complete Wasteland 2, but to be honest I've got to California and the difficulty spike is insane.
Sounds like classic marketing hype to get you to register pre-orders with them. They know as much as we do at this point, nothing to worry about here.
It is exasperating for those of us who are waiting, but lets not get hysterical. Like I said in another thread, hopefully we'll hear some news on the 9th (Playstations 25th anniversary), and even if we don't hear anything then - we know for sure that Sony will have to announce the price and release at some point befor...
Is it still coming to console September 15th, or has that date been changed?
Aww man, I forgot just how Amazing MArvel's Spider-Man is. Makes me want to go boot it up again :)
Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me.
But yeah, I'll still be there for 2077 on day 1 😎
They say that, and the day 1 patch for the game drops, which then adds another 15GBs to the file size. Then after the first month another 5GB patch drops to address various bug and user experience issues. Than a couple months later the first DLC releases which comes in 35GB, and then the patch to address issues in the DLC releases for another 5GB.
So yeah for Day 1 adopters the game will be under 200GB, but for those who opt to wait and buy the ultimate GOTY Edition, well, ...
Ofcourse I read trhe article. I read it two more time while writing this reply just to be sure.
You are flat out wrong. There is not a single place in the article where it "acknowledges that there's no link."
The closest it comes, is in the last paragraph wher it states that "past studies have shown that there is not necessarily a link between aggression and video game violence."
The key word in that sentence is the word - necessari...
Can we please move on from this fallacy that video games are intrinsically linked to aggression. It's disengenuous at best and completely ignores the socio-cultural factors that affect the individuals environment and upbringing. They also never consider the individuals mental health and overall stability, or the fact that there are certain countries that have generally a higher rate of violent crime in the 18-35 bracket, than other countries - which has absolutely nothing to do with video...
This is what I'm actually expecting to happen. They'll wait until the very last moment before announcing the price, It wouldn't surprise me at all if we don't get a price unitl November.
Yeah this game of chicken that Microsoft and Sony are playing is getting ridiculous. It makes me wonder if the price of the consoles are actually on the high side, with each one of them waiting to undercut the other just to prove a point and win bragginfg rights.
On Sony's part, the rumour mill suggests September 9th for an event, or announcement to comemmorate Playstations 25th anniversary, so if that date comes and passes without fanfare - I guess we can then go get t...
I think there have been articles about the proposition of getting the PS5 at launch. But in my view, I think it offers a better proposition speficically in regards to a day one purchase at launch. Side by side, (obvisouly the price will be a major deciding factor in which one to get day 1) and assuming they are priced the same, on day 1 the PS5 will offer more in terms of a next gen experience out the gate.
Cyberpunk is definately going to rock, not sure which platform it will shine the best on though.
I loved Hellblade, and tbh, I'd love to play the sequel. Its games like that they need to show with full next gen bells and whistles.
All I'm asking is where is that NextGen game that demonstrates the power differential of the Series X? Have they shown one? Or are you suggesting that its Minecraft and Gears 5 that demonstrates the capabilities of the Series X?
If that's the case then it's not much to shout about.
That's the best one I've heard 🤣🤣🤣
