They announce a release date yet?
All I'm saying is, don't underestomate the impact that the Bethesda acquisition will have in the long term. It's will move the needle that's for sure, the only real question is by how much.
Another one of these articels that wants to tell me how I should or shouldn't spend my own money...
Here's a better headline for you "there is no reason to click on this article this year."
There you go. Fixed.
Days Gone is definately worth the time. I know this game took some heat (very unjustifiably) when it was released, but it's a great game.
Proabably cruch will still continue for some time after launch. Day 1 patches are a thing right?
Oh man I know that feeling. The thing is, due to some current constraints I won't be able to afford a PS5 until early next year. I honestly don't know if I can handle the wait.
Yeah, Leloplay is right. The Souls series is no longer niche.
The question is - do I get this on PS4, or wait till I get a PS5 to experience Cyberpunl in it's next-gen glory?
Decisions... decisions.
🤔
Yeah man, I had all of them. My PS2 days were definitely up there. I still remember playing GTA 3 for the first time; Metal Gear Solid 2, Manhunt, Ico, FFX, Jak and Daxter, Timesplitters and so many others. The list would just go on and one really, if I listed all those great PS2 moments.
I honestly think PS2 era was better than PS3 era, but that's just me.
Trust Jason Scheier to be the one to break the news.
Yeah crunch is bad. But the silver lining is that (a) the staff are being payed overtime, and (b) it's only for 2 months unitl the game ships in Novmeber.
Let's all be honest now - if Cyberpunk releases as a bug riddled mess, the keyboard warriors wil be out in full force demanding the bugs got fixed. We all know that Cybepunk is the flagship game for both next-gen AND current gen consoles. Ther...
Brilliant article.Getting my hands on a PSOne way back when, is still one of those defining moments for me. I can honestly say it changed the course of my gaming life. And I probably would be a much better guitarist today if not for those 10,000hrs+ that I poured into playstation instead. Happy Days! 😎
Dude when you've finished with that crystal ball, could I borrow it for a moment or two...
The outcome of next gen is anyone's guess. There are just too many variable right now to be able to accurateley predict how many consoles will be sold in however many years down the line. 200million though? Not sure about that.
Anyone would rightly estimate that based on current gen install numbers, Sony is likely to sell more PS5's - IF it can succeful...
I did't say game pass was free. I said the games would be "free" - (notwithstanding the price of the subscription) in comparison to paying $70 for a new game of day one, it's a good proposition.
Healthy competition is good for the industry. I just hope it will mean a reduction in game prices. If Sony keeps their prices at $70, while MS offers those same games "free" on game pass - then gamers will go where the games are cheaper. It's a simple value for money propostion. Sony has to compete on that front, and I hope they will.
It'll be a very interesting generation, that's for sure. But they both have different strategies, and will measure success with different metrics.
I think for MS, success will primarily be measured by gamepass and how many users are subscribed to the service - regardless of platform. Number of consoles sold I think will be secondary to that - although having Bethesda's catalogue in their back pocket will go along way to push Xbox sales.

Fake news for fake hype is getting old.
Mole hill =/= Mountain
NO it's not bad for the consumer. Not everyone can afford to get a PS4 at launch, and this asinine idea that 100million PS4 owners should be locked out of games that were already in devdlopment for the PS4 is just idiotic.
It's not as though 3rd party games won't be released on both PS4 and PS5 anyway. I don't see any hoopla about Cyberpunk 2077 et al beinfg released across generations.
Just imagine the outcry if CDPR suddenly decided to only relea...
